Amber?

"Stop moving!" I growled clutching to my pillow tighter. It moved again so I just rolled on top and wrapping my legs around it. A vibrating pur surprised me to he point I shot up and looked down at my 'pillow.' I was straddling Sesshomaru in his bed! "Oh god! I'm sorry!" I said but it was like he wasn't listening to me. His eyes were down on my chest. You know those parts in some anime or cartoons where a characters line of sight was marked with dotted lines? Well if that had happened right now the dotted lines would point to my boobs. I inhaled sharply and crossed my arms over my breasts blushing madly. Rough clawed hands gripped my hips rubbing the pad of their thumbs over my exposed skin.

"The only thing you have to apologize to me for is the act of hiding yourself from me." He said looking me straight in the eye with those intense amber orbs. A shiver ran down my spine and if it was a real thing, my nose would be the Niagara falls of nose bleeds.

"Um....no? I'm sorry, I'm actually a shy person." I said earning a disbelieving look from the man I was sitting on. "No really! I mean, it's an on and off thing for me. With my friends I lose almost all sense of shame but around strangers it's a different story." I defended.

"Am I a stranger?" He asked.

"No, and yes. I know you, I know quite a bit about you but we haven't exactly spent a lot of time together." I said and continued before he could say anything about it. "That time you spent in my head doesn't count! In fact...you owe me another sandwich." I pouted then grabbed MokoMoko and held it to my chest.

"Then have one of the cooks make you a sandwich." He said getting up onto his elbows. I smiled looked down at him and admired how his hair shinned in the morning glow. It was just so long and silky, who wouldn't be drawn to it. Wait.....drawn to it. That's bad. My smile turned to a frown and I got off him noticing for the first time that my pants where gone. I stiffed freezing in my tracks and looked to Sesshomaru.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You took them off in your sleep." He said evenly. I turned back around and searched the bed finding them on the otherside beside where the pillows where. It was my signature when I slept strip, everything that was taken off was placed on the ground beside the pillows. I dropped MokoMoko onto the bed, tugged on my yoga pants and walked out his room covering my chest with my arm on my way to mine. The girls were sleeping cuddled up on my bed. I smiled at the sight and went to my closet picking out clothes for the day before getting in the tub with my lap top on the counter playing music.

"Hey, where'd you sleep last night? Have another run with the dog?" Anna asked coming into the bathroom. She sat on the toilet and light a cigarette.

"No, he decided that it would be best if I started sleeping in another room."

"His room you mean?" She said nailing it right on the head smiling at me.

"Busted! Though nothing happened and nothing will happen till I feel like it." I told her mimicking her smile.

"No!" She said blowing out some smoke. "Bad Athena! No sex with a male till we rape you! We must be the ones to properly introduce you to the wonders that is penetration." Anna said making me huff with laughter.

"Says the chick smoking a cigarette taking a piss while talking to her friend who's taking a bath at the same time. That's the tell tale sign of a proper lady." I said running a hand down my face.

"You know it." She said flushing the toilet. As soon as she was out of the bathroom I drained the tub and got out. I bypassed the girls grabbing my quilt off my bed before going back to Sesshomaru's room. I threw it on the bed then walked out going to his study. When I got there I was surprised to find Amber sitting on the other side of his desk.

"Amber? You didn't tell me you were coming over!" I said.

"Yeah, I didn't plan on coming so soon but I had to deliver something to Sesshomaru over here." She grunted tossing a letter onto the desk in front of Sesshomaru. He took it and opened it up. I sat down on the couch against the wall and waited.

"I owe them nothing." Sesshomaru said coldly tossing the paper onto his desk.

"You don't but are you really willing to start an under ground war? It's bad enough you gave a few demons the inspiration to rebel against their ruling lords. That alone is cause enough for them to come baring down on you. Now you've started a land fight. Lords across the U.S, Mexico, South America, Canada and even Greenland are starting to fight each other for more land. You couldn't stop at just one state you took two." Amber said leaving my mouth open with questions to ask but Sesshomaru beat me to it.

"The previous Lords were unfit for such rolls. There lands were littered in small gangs that claimed parts of his territory for their own. Now that I'm in control there is no such things." He said.

"Yes! Exactly! Which is why they aren't just going to come over here and kill you. Sesshomaru, no matter what you do they will find out." She said flicking her eyes over at me.

"Not if I send her away." He countered.

"Even then because they already know about her. They don't know details but they are very detailed people. Look, just play nice. Keep your nose clean and keep up your image. The people are liking that your in power for the most part. Use that to your advantage, and in time your going to have to use Athena as well." She warned.

"Would someone tell me what the fuck is going on? Use me for what? Who knows about me?" I asked looking between both of them.

"Athena, have you heard about the council?" Amber asked.

"Yeah I know of them." I said.

"Great, cause you might meet them real soon."  She said.

"Wha...what?" I said looking at her with wide eyes.

"Yep and once they see you they'll know there is something that ties you to Sesshomaru and that you know of the demon world yet you don't have a ring or marking." She said looking back as Sesshomaru.

"No it wasn't him...it was Gail. I knew it was illegal for him but he said if I gave him my first kiss that he would be my living dictionary. Ha, he didn't live to get that kiss." I said.

"Well then, it'll still fall to Sesshomaru so I suggest something happens." Amber said giving me a chester cat grin.

"When do they want to be here?" I asked ignoring her last comment.

"Two weeks from Monday." Sesshomaru answered for me.
