"Hey sorry I took so long." Amber said coming into the house. I got up immediately ready to go.

"That's okay, it was nice hanging out with the dobes." I said.

"Hey! Who you calling dobes!" Anna asked.

"You two! Come on Sesshomaru, let's go." I said. He got up and followed me and Amber out the door. I opened the van door for him to then closed it. I got into the passenger seat with Amber. Once in she decided to turn on her music, only it was blaring. Immediately I covered my ears and turned it down.

"Shit, sorry about that. You really did get the dog's super abilities." She said turning off the music completely.

"Ugh, yes and if I didn't love the smell of gas for some reason I would be in hell right now." I said taking a deep breath. Must be because my mom worked at a gas station even when she was pregnant with me. At least to me it was logical.

"God you're a freak sometimes how would you like such a nauseating odor?" Amber asked.

"Agreed." Sesshomaru chipped in from the back.

"I have no clue, why do you like certain foods or colors? It's just something that defines a person. Be them demon, human or unicorn." I said looking at Sesshomaru through the mirror outside the window.

"You has a point I guess." Amber shrugged pulling into her driveway. Once the engine cut off I hopped out and opened the door.

"Milord." I said bowing slightly as he hopped out. He didn't say anything as he padded towards the house. I shut the door with a wide grin on my face. Once inside Amber's dog Joy came out. She was a big white dog too but she was still smaller than Sesshomaru who came above my hips. She bowed her head and her tail went low wagging slightly as she passed him to get to her owner.

"Hi baby girl! Don't worry about the new addition, he won't bite." Amber soothed betting Joy's head lovingly. She gave a dog grin and let her tongue flop out to the side.

"Yeah Joy, he's just a little moody." I confirmed earning a short growl from Sesshomaru.

"Mean, bad boy!" Joy said shocking the living shit out of me.

"Oh my god I can hear Joy too!" I gasped rushing forth to pet Joy.

"Really? That's so cool, wish I could hear her but then again. Me and Joy can talk without speaking the same language anyways." Amber said enviously.

"Yeah, Joy is a very smart and good girl." I cooed to her.

"Joy good girl!" She repeated wagging her tail. Sesshomaru huffed and padding around the house sniffing here and there.

"Sesshomaru, I got you a dog bed. I won't make you eat dog food but I ask you don't make it too obvious that it all you're eating cause Joy might get jealous." Amber said.

"Joy hungry! Food gone!" Joy barked happily. I nearly died right then and there it was so cute. I went to the kitchen and brought out her food bag. "Food!" She cheered happily as I poured out some into her dish. Once done she went forth and started eating. Sesshomaru just looked at her with little interest.

"Alright, here's a blanket and a pillow. The couch is your territory now. Here's his dog bed, put it where ever he wants it I guess." Amber said coming out from the back of her house. I accepting the burden from her and dumped them on the couch.

"Where do you want your bed?" I asked him.

"Anywhere is fine." He said simply with a slight wage of his tail. I shrugged and placed it near the door. I figured he would want to be by the door at all times. Wish we could leave it open for him but Joy loved to wonder. I then plopped down on the couch and picked up her Xbox 360 remote.

"What do you want for dinner?" Amber asked opening up her fridge.

"Well, what do you have?" I asked clicking to Sonic the Hedgehog in the 'My Games' tab.

"Pork chops, Spaghetti, Hamburgers, Fried chicken, Tuna fish, Fish sticks." She listed out.

"I want Fish sticks, what about you Milord?" I asked him. He had decided to lay down on his new bed and look out the window.

"Do as you wish." He said.

"He doesn't give a flying fuck, Amber?"

"Fish sticks, mac'n'cheese and green beans. Good, didn't feel like spending all eternity on making food." She said bustling about the kitchen.

"When will she turn me back?" Sesshomaru asked.

"When do you think you can return the Lord back?" I asked.

"Uhh, I don't know when. I know I can but it'll take some time for me to figure out how then actually do it." She said. I looked to Sesshomaru for a reply but he never gave one, just continued to look out the door. Joy hopped up on the couch with me resting her head in my lap under my hands that held the controller. I smiled at her and petted her a bit before starting the game. Every time I completed the act I would pause the game and showed her some more affection.

I was given a plate of food from Amber as she walked around me to sit down in her recliner. I said a quick thank you and dug in. Of course Joy asked me for just a little bit which I ended up giving in secretly. She thanked me licking her chops and laid her head back down. Amber got my plate then handed me Sesshomaru's plate.

"Joy, outside?" Amber asked her. Immediately Joy jumped out repeating what Amber has said. I giggled and waited for her and Joy to leave before getting up to set Sesshomaru's food in front of him. He wordlessly began eating it and licked the plate clean.

"Do you wish to go outside Sesshomaru?" I asked taking up his plate.

"I don't care." He said. I rolled my eye placed the plate in the sink then opened the door. He got up and went outside. He looked around then hiked a leg up on the house. I shook my head and looked out to Amber and Joy who was playing fetch. Sesshomaru came up to my side and watched with me. I opened my mouth and looked down at him but he cut me off before I could ask. "No."

"Okay, your lose. It could be really fun and all. Besides, it's good exercise and would pass some time." I said.

"I have no interests in such silly games." He said walking away. I sighed heavily and went to a grass patch that has flowers, more like weeds, growing around it. Out of boredom I started picking them and made a crown out of them. I made it as thick and colorful as I could and searched around for a four leaf clover. Once I found one I placed it in my self proclaimed center.

I looked up smiling about to show Amber when I caught Sesshomaru looking at me. I instantly thought about Rin and sighed. I got up and went to him. I placed the crown on his head and patted his head. I didn't say anything just walked off to climb a tree. Once up Sesshomaru came and laid down on the ground around the base of the tree.

The sun started to set so me and Amber decided to go inside. Amber told me that she had to work tomorrow early in the morning. She went off to bed with Joy leaving me to play the game with Sesshomaru. Once tired I turned off all but the oven light then headed to bed saying goodnight to Sesshomaru.
