Chapter ??? - Help.

The beast turned towards me once more, black blood drooling from its eye, teeth jutting out at odd angles from its face. Two new arms stuck out of the slashed stripes on its hips, thin, bony arms with two long fingers. They fizzed with electricity.

Aha.

It charged towards me, slamming its two new hands on the floor and sending a swift crack of electricity towards me. I danced clumsily away from the sparking floor, tripping over my own feet and stumbling towards a wall. My arm hung limply by my side, tossing itself around painfully. My eyesight was failing me, my head spinning.

Come on, stay alive you stupid f*ck.

I glanced at my health bar. Deep red.

Nope, I'm f*cked. But if I can cut off one of its arms, the circuit can't be completed, right? Or can it be completed through the monster itself?

F*ck it, I'm fucking fucked.

Loud vibrations shook my already wobbly legs and I threw myself out of the way, callously forgetting my pain and running to Evan. Grabbing him by the back of the hoodie I ran with him to the edge of the room, letting go and shoving him away as the beast charged to kill, once again.

Awkwardly, I slid around him, and began to run, but something pulled at my neck, choking me and tripping me backwards, at the same time. I reached back, feeling a cold, muscly hand on the hood of my jumper.

Suddenly I was flying once again.

Well, this is the end.

Once again, my body collided with a hard wall, my head smashing against it. The pain made its way to my forehead as my stomach dropped and my body crumpled on the floor, sticking up at awkward angles.

I looked around, the world becoming less colourful than it already was. My head throbbed and my body wouldn't move as the blurry red object came towards me.

Amongst the pain I felt the ground shake beneath me, the red blob growing larger.

Larger.

Larger.

Thud.

Thud.

Thud.

No hammer. Just hands and footsteps and red and spikes and death. Death, so much death.

I'm not ready.

I'm not ready to die.

The world went black.

Or, at least I thought it did.

Something nudged me. "What a pitiful state." A soft, crackling voice said. Its tone was sad.

Did this mean I wasn't dead?

I opened my eyes, forgetting they'd ever been closed. A face peered into mine, grey-ish, surrounded by murky green, a red dot and a green dot. Was this even a face?

As my eyes focused, things became more apparent. A girl was kneeling before me, caramel coloured, with crudely cut, green hair, a crimson eye, and a glowing green one. A player? I'm not sure. She barely looks-

"Oh, alive, I see." The girl said. "Eyes so dull, face so purple. Hair so long... Girl or boy?"

I watched her eyes drift down to my crotch, and as a hand began to drift, presumably to check, I made an effort to speak. No way is this damn weirdo looking at my junk. No fucking way.
