Chapter ??? - Level Five.

"Helloooooooo? Kiiiieeeraaaaaaan?" A soft, male voice echoed. Something was touching me.

"Just stick this in his gob and tip it down his throat. He isn't waking up." Said another male voice. "We need to remember Evan, too."

"He has such chubby cheeks." Said a female voice as my breathing was being cut off. "Chubby cheeks, if you don't open your eyes in the next three seconds, I'll kick you where the sun does not shine."

"Jesus, Karsci, harsh."

My stomach tipped. Cold on my side. Pain on my side. PAIN IN MY BALLS.

"Fucking hell, Karcsi!"

I was groaning and shuffling, back to reality. My hands trying helplessly to stop some horrendous pain. Am I going to throw up?

"Fucking... Bitch..." I croaked, my eyes opening slightly. I was on my side, the grey floor taking up a lot of room. Elliot and Karcsi's faces were peering at me, the girl's misty eyes smug and filled with glee.

"It worked, did it not?" She shrugged her slender shoulders and handed a bottle of blue liquid to Elliot, before turning and walking away, presumably to check on Evan. I saw Elliot's arm reach over and my stomach flipped once again as I was upright. I looked at the three guys, watching their faces.

"I see you defeated the boss and found the portal. I'm impressed. How many bosses is that now? Three?" Chris' voice didn't sound impressed, and he had his arms crossed. "You're lucky we came when we did, though, a Brute was ready to make you into his lunch."

Elliot nodded in agreement, handing me the potion. "Drink up, we've got no time to lose."

I nodded obediently and gulped down the bottle in one go. Relief filled me as I felt the potion do its magic, numbing my pain and sealing my cuts. The throbbing in my head was the last thing to fade, and I smiled, looking up and watching my health bar fill almost to the top. I looked at the empty bottle.

Suddenly, my hoodie and shirt were pulled up, cold air hitting my bare stomach. "Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" I tried to say, looking at Chris, who was looking at my bare skin in a puzzled manner. I'm not sure what I really said, but it clearly wasn't right. I grabbed my clothes and shoved them down to cover myself. "Stop that. You're being weird."

My hand feels weird.

Chris frowned, crossing his arms and standing back up. "See?" He said, ignoring me and looking at Elliot. "No scars."

"That's weird." Elliot said, nodding and looking at his own arms, covered in pale and purple scars. "How come we all look like zebras, and he's just.. blank?"

In my delirium I amused myself with the way he said 'zebra'. Zee-bra. Zeeeee-bra. You guys are weird sometimes. Like 'Aluminium'. Al-oo-min-um. That's silly. You guys are silly. You took out a whole syllable.

"You ready to go?" Elliot asked, standing up and offering me his hand. I gratefully took it, using him to help me stand up.

Ugh, I feel sick.

The high that I'd got off of being cured faded away quickly, and I was left with exhaustion. I swayed a little on my feet, and nodded once I'd recovered enough to let go of Elliot.

On the other side of the room, Evan was up, being helped by Derren, who was the closest to his height, aside from myself, probably.

Karcsi came over to me. "I am sorry for kicking you." She said. "I was worried about you not waking up."
