Hello, again, my favorite readers :) The contest is coming to an end, but I'm still going to continue the story. In this chapter, the prince charming is revealed to the society... or something like that. The requirement for this task was to make a chapter that leads into something important in the story and in the fairytale. Well, this is the appearance of our prince charming and what he does behind school ;) more of murder cases coming soon. In this chapter, you might find Asher a bit paranoid. You'll find out about his past sooner or later. Be warned, it's too heartbreaking for anyone! So here, the next chapter! <3 I love you all <3
I don't care how much it hurts.
It's worth it.
It's worth it.

Chapter 3—It’s Not WORTH IT
Asher
When I saw her startled, I was trying my best to hold that laugh that was threatening to burst loose. She furrowed her forehead in distress while I was forming a smile on my lips. I was grinning when she started biting her nails. Her displeasure fed me with the feeling of energy. My energy boosted up. The power of teasing was extremely helpful.
“I’m kidding,” I said, trying to make my voice superior.
She looked up towards me. “Meaning?”
I sighed. Now, how hard could it be to process a two-word sentence? “I’m not going to kill you. I’m not a killer,” I clarified.
You’re one. Don’t try to hide the killer hidden in you.
The girl looked at me, unbelieving, as if she travelled through my thoughts. “Why should I believe you?” she asked stubbornly.
I blinked. “What are you, a lady or a gangster?” I muttered. Her tone was challenging me to lunge over her and eat her alive. When I saw her hand curling into a fist, I imagined her turn into this huge boxer, ready to punch anyone daring enough to challenge her on the ring. From her face, I could tell how badly she wanted to punch my face and rip my organs into pieces. Instead of fearing her, I felt refreshed by the challenge.
She rolled her eyes before punching me hard. Before I could realize a thing, I was already ducking away from her. Her fist landed on the sofa. When her first attempt failed, her other hand landed on the steering while.
“Freak!” Ryan screamed as he searched for the seatbelt. “Are you both purely insane?”
By that time, the girl and I were fighting for the steering wheel. I pulled the wheel to the left, while the girl pulled to the right. As we fought, the car moved in a zigzag pattern, occasionally jumping for no specific reason when she accidentally stepped the brakes.
“Guys!” Ryan shouted before joining the fight to take over the steering wheel.I saw other cars giving us odd looks before passing away from my truck.
Making the speed low and safe, I tried to take over the steering wheel again. Secretly, I was having fun on my own. The girl was using all her energy as grabbed my uninjured hand before throwing it off the wheel.
“Not gonna work,” I told her nonchalantly. “I’m too strong—“
Unconsciously, she pressed her hand against my injured hand. The memory of last night emerged from my head, and I leaned my head on the window for comfort. The pain was blinding me, and I felt a layer of flesh blood drenching the bandages I’ve changed this morning. Through gritted teeth, I muffled a soft wail, my hands trembling as I exhaled the pain away.
