I did my hair and makeup
To enhance my normal look
But I won't think poorly of it
If that's another glance you took
And if you change your act
After you've seen my dress
I won't think that it's because
I normally look a mess
If one look is all it takes
For you to act differently
Well, then I say that's okay
I dressed up for you and me
