Be You

If there's anyone I know
Who can solve anything,
It is most definitely you;
You're competent in everything.

And maybe you have your moments
Where you're a stick in the mud,
But that isn't you overall.
You absolutely know how to have fun.

And if I need a companion
Who is steady and is sure,
I know who I'll be running to,
I'll be knocking on your door.

If you want to know my secrets
Just ask and they are yours,
And I don't have to ask you to keep them;
You're trustworthy, I'm sure.

You're such an amazing person,
An example to all.
Whenever my foundation's shaking
You make sure to stand tall.

You're an ensign of diligent faith,
And it's beauty you envelop.
You're Mary Poppins in real life.
There's nothing more for you to develop.

I hope you take these words to heart.
They are absolutely true.
There's nothing you need to worry about
As long as you're being you.
