A Poet's Soul

I look at this world of eternal beauty and conflict and translate it into rhythm.
There is something so beautiful about tapping out the wind's dance or whistling to the tune of people walking past.
If everyone could interpret the world's language like I do, I think people would be less inclined to complain or to argue or anything quite as negative.
With one glance I can change misery to marvel,
And weariness to wistfulness,
Sorrow to serenity.
In a moment's notice I can be flying with the birds, going south for the winter.
Then I will change direction to join the illegal immigrants just trying to find somewhere nice to call home.
Then I will travel to Africa to admire their diverse culture.
Then with a hop, skip, and a jump I'm back in bed, staring at the ceiling and imaging what it would be like be a fisherman.
I am a world traveler.
I have lived dreams no one has even thought to achieve, and I have woven them into a blanket of creation and ingenuity.
I am an entity of light and rhythm, and I will forever endeavor to inspire greatness.
