Loving Mother

Where would I be without you
Letting me cling to your side
Every time I got scared
And needed somewhere to hide

Where would I be without you
And your loving hands
That picked me up so patiently
When I fell down again

Where would I be without you
And your gentle words
That taught me what it meant to love
And all about my worth

Where would I be without you
And your tender heart
That broke for me when I was broken
And was there for every new start

Where would I be without you
Alleviating my fears
And always being available to wipe away my tears

Where would I be without you
And your example of diligent faith
The way you lead, guide, walk beside me
As I find the way

Where would I be without you
And your tight embrace
Holding me together
And keeping me in place

Your loving hands
Your gentle words
Your tender heart
Your tight embrace
I love you more than words can say
