Our Native Tongue

In a moment of anger do we comfort someone else,
Or are we more likely to attack them and ourselves?

It is so much easier to remain calm and stable,
But in a burst of emotion it seems that we aren't able.

What an important attribute, patience will always be.
The home is a lot quieter when shouting isn't seen.

Our native tongue is rejection or attack of any kind.
Let us learn a measured tone, leave the rest behind.
