"I can't believe you don't listen to Flume! His music is like pure genius!" I gushed while I typed on his laptop.
Steph lay back on his bed and threw his basketball up and down while he looked at his ceiling. "Why would I listen to a nobody?"
"He's not a nobody!" I quickly defended. "He's just low-key, but he has listeners!"
He scoffed. "Yeah, listeners like you who don't know shít about good music."
"Fúck you," I said, glaring at him. "What type of music do you even listen to, huh?"
I exited Pages and headed to his music library and immediately, all I saw was Drake.
"Overrated," I huffed.
"Aye, don't mess with my library!" He sat up from his bed and looked at me warily. "Just do the damn essay, will you?"
"Last I heard, this is a group work! So far I'm the only one really working on this," I angrily spat at him.
Suddenly, he laughed at my expression and fell back on his bed, throwing the ball up and down again. "You look pretty when you're mad."
Did I just hear that right? Did he just call me pretty? "Pretty?!"
"Yeah, pretty ugly."
Oh, yeah. Never forget that Wardell Stephen Curry isn't capable of being nice.
"You're such an asshole!" I shouted at him, putting the laptop aside and getting up from the bean bag. "Like the biggest hole in the ass! That's what you are!"
I reached for the ball in his hands in attempt to snatch his attention but guess fúcking what, maybe it went on his reflexes but he moved the ball upwards and I ended up falling on top of him.
I suddenly forgot how to blink, or breathe, or do anything. I just know that I was staring straight at his hazel eyes and that I could feel his warm breath and that he had that damn smirk on display.
"Oh my god." I cringed and try to shake last night's memory out of my head. I had never been in such embarrassing situation before.
I pulled my pants back in and zipped it as I flushed the toilet behind me. I pushed the door and headed towards the sink to wash my hands when someone came inside the restroom.
"I'm telling you that Shay girl needs to be kicked out of the cheerleading team," Holly said, gossiping about my best friend with her other bimbo friends.
Has she been talking shít a lot about Shay? They're backstabbing her!
She quickly noticed me and I could see from the corner of my eye the she was nudging her friends.
"Hey, Arzaya," the blonde girl greeted me. Her smile was as fake as her jewelry.
I looked up at her and returned a small smile.
"I'm not sure why you think it's okay to hang-out with Steph," Holly slowly walked closer, warning me. "But you should know that he's my boyfriend and he's off-limits."
