The human walked through the blue lighting of Waterfall. They were on the walkway full of glowing, large echo flowers. They exchanged voices with each other, becoming a sort of music in the background.

They had to admit, the Underground can be pretty.

They took a right on one bend, going to a darker corner. There was only two echo flowers here, and that was the only light. The ceiling was lower, and the ground full of desperate weeds. There were no jewels to reflect the light around.

The human pulled out their toy knife. This would be the perfect place to hide. They felt their neck hairs rise. Someone, or some monster, was hiding here.

They turned in a slow circle, narrowing their eyes. It was dark, but their eyes soon adjusted. The looked a the first echo flower. It looked... strange. It was lying on its side, and it didn't have a stem.

The human bended down, grabbing one if the petals. They didn't know what to expect, but certainly not a voice.

"Hey! Stop that!" It sounded scared. Was it the flower?

The human drops it. Immediately, the flower stood up. It had arms and legs... but no body. Its head was a echo flower upside down, as well as its abdomen. Its eyes where closed, unhappily. It was just a bit taller than the human was.

The human felt the similar sensation of bring dragged into battle. Their chest lit up with their little red heart. They stared at the menu at the bottom of the screen.
Fight Act Item Run

They chose Act. Five choices popped up.

*Check *Sing *Dance *Accuse *Smile

They chose Check. This the menu changed to this:

Echo Witch - ATK 3 DEF 20

Is tucking a picture of Migosp behind her.

The human looked up, and sure enough, she was tucking something behind her back. Now, it was the Echo Witch's turn.

They were now trapped in a little box. The human watched as jewels started to fall all around them. The human panicked a little, until they realize it had a pattern. Now it was easy to dodge.

Soon, they were back to the menu again. They pressed the Act button. They chose to Smile. The human flashed a brilliant white grin.

The Echo Witch paused, and start to glow a soft blue. "What...?" She said, but she looked like she was cheered up. This time, the attack was one flower blasting light into the human. Luckily, it only blasted in one spot. The human wasn't hurt.

The human know spared the Echo Witch. They were sucked out of the battle. The Echo Witch glowed a steady blue now, maybe it represented that it was happy?

The Echo Witch then walked away. She lied on the floor, taking out the pictures of Migosp. She kicked her feet in excitement. The human watched this for a moment. Then, they left.

(If you fight the second time and onwards. This won't work the first time, she will just deny it and that's it. You have to Smile at her first. But smiling will still work.)

The human came across another Echo Witch. They sighed as they became a heart again. They pressed the Act menu. They noticed the Accuse text there. They shrugged and choose it. They pointed with a apprehending glare.

The Echo Witch gasped. "Are... are you ACCUSING me?!" The Echo Witch looked angry. "About what?!" Then, realization dawned on her. "M-my crush?!"

She shook her head. "I d-don't!" Then, the box appeared again. It was the flower blaster again. After that, the human noticed they could spare her. They choose spare.

The Echo Witch left in a flurry of embrassment.

(This only works if you know Shyren's song. It still works on all encounters.)

Right after that one, only a few steps away, the human encountered another Echo Witch. They groaned in annoyance and pressed the Act menu. The sing option caught their eye. I know a song, the thought. So they began to sing.

The Echo Witch turned a bright blue. "O-oh?" She looked overjoyed. "Yes! Keep singing, I love dancing!" When it was her turn to attack, the box was left alone.

The human felt the Echo Witch's happiness fill their own chest. It was very contagious, but in a very good way. Then, the human spared the Echo Witch.

It twirled away with glee.

(This only works if you have the Old Tutu or the Ballet Shoes. It works as long as you have those items, no matter how many encounters.)

The human loved its new getup. The tutu was a little dusty, and the shoes barely fit, but it was nice to wear something else for a change. Then, the Echo Witch came again. This is getting really annoying, the human thought.

They wanted to do something different as well. The human pressed the dance button. Seeing that the outfit is very FITTING for thus occasion, they began to twril.

The Echo Witch burst a crisp blue. "You love to dance too?" When it was her turn to attack, she swayed instead.

The human then spared her. The Echo Witch moonwalked out of the battle.

(If you kill her. Which, why would you? You literal monster.)

The human was getting sick and tired of encountering Echo Witches. Do they have anything better to do? If only I can get rid of them...

They suddenly realized. They could. All they would have to do is press the fight button. Would they disappear and never come back? Would that affect anything? Welp. There's only one way to find out...

The human swung their pink ballet shows at the Echo Witch. It took at little bit of her health. After the Echo Witch's turn, they kicked again. They exchanged this for a while, until the Echo Witch finally turned into dust.

The Echo Witch dropped 0 gold and 20 EXP.

(This is the text that she will say in battle when you fight her.)

"I am not in a good mood..."

"Stop fighting, and feel good... please..."

"I want to be happy... but your not..."

(The menu will state this from time to time.)

She doesn't look very happy.

Dripping sounds echo.

She just wants to be happy.
