This is a book about Undertale, and all of it's AUs. I can write anything here...

WARNNING: SPOILERS FOR UNDERTALE
IMMORTALE
Idea: The monsters are replaced with MYTHICAL CREATURES.
MYTHICAL CREATURES: Their SOULS have greater magic than mortal's, but they don't have any DETERMINATION They will disintegrate when they are killed, and will melt if DT is injected.
Frisk: Satyr BACKSTORY: They have come to the Underground to hide themselves from the mortals so they don't get killed. They were originally a mortal, but Chara had turned them into a Satyr to convince their puppet to come Underground.
Flowey: Nymph BACKSTORY: (Same basic story) After him and Chara died and lost his SOUL, he was reincarnated into a flower and slowly became evil, obsessed with revenge to get back at the mortal's one day.
Napstablook: Daemon BACKSTORY: Daemons are able to change their shape, but if they stay too long in that state, they will be stuck in that shape. Blooky is very unsure which body he wants, unlike his cousin.
Toriel: Nymph BACKSTORY: Chara and Asriel died, and Toriel was afraid that wouldn't come back. She broke up with Asgore and fled to the Ruins, wanting to help instead of hurt like the hurt she felt inside. She kept a flower garden in hopes of seeing her son becoming one.
Sans: Werewolf BACKSTORY: Dr. Gaster wanted to get rid of his curse, after a big accident with Asgore, so he created two skeletons and transfered his magic to them. Sans tried to keep Gaster alive, but... Dr. Gaster vanished.
Papyrus: Vampire BACKSTORY: See Sans. Even though Sans was older, Papyrus took it upon himself to act as the bigger brother and wanted to protect his grief-filled brother, so he took upon himself to try and become apart of the Royal Guard.
Undyne: Siren BACKSTORY: Most sirens, like Shyren, were used mostly like tools to humans Undyne wanted to take out revenge on the mortals, as well just for all monsters that were mistreated, so she worked hard to become part of the Royal Guard. Asgore trained her, and soon respected her and her motives enough to allow her to be the Head.
Alphys: Dragon BACKSTORY: The rightful Royal Scientist was Sans or Papyrus, but they refused, so Asgore appointed Dr. Alphys to be the scientist. Alphys wanted to break the barrier that the mortals made a long time ago, so she experimented with DT, and accidentally made the amalgamates. After that, she became a stuttering mess and tried to shut out the world. She wanted to make it up to her crush, Asgore, but she wasn't sure how. Then, Mettaton came her way and agreed to pretend to be a organically made MYTHICAL CREATURE.
Mettaton: Originally Daemon, Now Centaur BACKSTORY: He wanted to find the perfect body, just like how his other cousin, Mad Dummy, did. He met Alphys and agreed to her terms, and then Mettaton finally found the body he wanted in a gorgeous Centaur. He became famous in the Underground as a TV shot host.
Asgore: Nymph BACKSTORY: Chara and Asriel died, and Toriel left him. He took it upon himself to kill the humans, but he couldn't bring himself to absorb them because of what happened to Chara and Asriel and his gulit. He saw a new daughter in Undyne though.
Chara: Daemon BACKSTORY: They fell down to the Underground, but to kill themself, for they hated the way mortals treated them up there as a Daemon. They met and Asriel and became his sibling, then they thought they were apart of the prophecy and ate the buttercups to have Asriel absorb their SOUL. However, they died and became a ghost creature, and began to haunt all of the mortal children and changed them into MYTHICAL CREATURES. However, they all died as well. At least, until Frisk came...
Gaster: Werewolf and Vampire BACKSTORY: Gaster became Asgore's friend after Toriel left him, and he became the Royal Scientist because of it. He was, however, born as a Werewolf and a Vampire and thought of it as a curse. After his testing, he moved on his curse to Papyrus and Sans, but his SOUL was severely damaged. Sans injected DT into him, but he didn't live. He became less then a being, for his body lived on with the DT, traveling between code and the occasional doorway.
HUMAN SOULS: They got changed into MYTHICAL CREATURES, so I'm just naming which one is which.
OTHER DETAILS: Dogs in Snowdin= Werewoves. Bunnies=Jackalope. Burgerpants= Manticore. Bratty and Catty= Fused Together. Flowey= Aconite, also know as Wolf's Bane. Grillby= Phoenix. Monster Kid= Basilisk. Sans changes into the Annoying Dog as his wolf form. Papyrus can change into a bat. Undyne can change into a more mortal looking version. Alphys can fly and breathe fire.
CANNON SHIPS: Asriel (Asgore X Toriel), Alphdyne (Undyne X Alphys), and KingDings (Gaster X Asgore) a little.
