Friday. 6pm.

"So anyone else bat your lashes this week?" Harper asked Riley, as she applied a coral lipstick to her lips.

She was in the car with her and Scarlett heading to this party, which she assumed was this Austin guys. "No, I didnt really pay any attention to anyone...I just wanted to work." Riley admitted.

"Yeah course, you've got writing classes that take up your time. I'm surprised we could go to this thing" Scarlet smiled. "I did my homework, and I'll do my other essay sometime tomorrow" Riley shrugged not that bothered.

"Dude, your coming out with us tomorrow" Harper looked at her from the front. "I am?" Riley asked. "Yeah, we're heading into town. Well...the mall." Harper grinned. "I'm actually still surprised you shrugged that off. You've just started, and have essays like its nothing" Scarlett giggled.

"What is the point in complaining? It wont help you" Riley nodded. "I think you've been a study bug for too long..." Harper looked at her, before turning back in her seat. "Yes, remind me again why we're going to this party?" Riley asked.

"Because you can mingle around. It'll be good." Harper told her. "She just wants to go for Austin." Scarlett smirked. "I do not!" Harper shoved her arm a little. "Hey! I'm driving here!" Scarlett told her off.

"I know, I dont want to end up in hospital. Telling my mom I've been here for six days and already in a car crash" Riley smiled, looking at her phone. "I'm a safe driver, unlike Miss need to do my makeup here" Scarlett spoke.

"You put makeup on in the car, driving?" Riley asked Harper, with wide eyes. "It was one time" She shook her head. "That is what she says all the time" Scarlett laughed. "Shut up dude!" Harper groaned, as she fluffed her hair a little.

Riley watched before looking out the window. Her hair was curly, well loose curls. She always liked curling it, she preferred it curled with her snapbacks. She had one on, and it was backwards as always. She didnt understand why girls always ' fluffed ' their hair because it gave Riley a phobia.

"Right well, we're here" Scarlett turned off her car bringing Riley back to reality. She looked out to see a large beige house with a large open front garden.

"Woah." She spoke aloud. Taking off her seat belt, she got out the car and closed the door before putting her phone into her back pocket of her ripped up jeans.

"I'm starting to think I'm under dressed...." Riley told the girls, as she saw others with sequins, studs, dresses as short as anything that stopped at the ass cheek. "No, your fine. Dont worry, Austin will like that" Scarlett nudged her smiling.

Harper had on a blue tank shirt with white jeans. Scarlett had shorts, and a long dressy shirt. Both had heels.

"Am I supposed to...feel happy about that? Will I get accepted?" Riley put her hand to her chest, as the three of them walked to the house. "Your so sarcastic" Harper giggled. "I like it" She then admitted, making Riley smile.

Walking into the music invested house, Riley looked around. "Yeah, this is so out of my comfort zone" She nodded. "Oh look, we can play spot the fuck boy" She then smiled widely, making Harper and Scarlett look at each other. "Come on you!" Scarlett laughed.

"Hey, there's Nate and Drew." Harper pointed to a large room, through people. "Who? The guy who stole your notes?" Riley asked Scarlett. "Oh yeah, I got them back. About time too, and just them?" She asked Harper. "Yeah come on" She smiled, as they all walked forward.

Riley's feet following before she realized.

"Hello boys!" Harper grinned, as she hugged them.

Okay then.

"Hiya" They greeted her, before doing the same with Scarlett. Riley stood, as she twisted her ankle to the side a little as she looked around. Trying to avoid eye contact with the two blonde guys. One taller than the other, but both quite good looking. One had messy hair with a bandana, and the other had perfectly fixed hair.

To be honest, the one with the hair looked like he belonged in the leadership team of football. Quarterback? Ding, I think we found him!

"Drew, Nate, this is Riley. She's the new chicken here" Harper smiled, bring her forward and closer to the guys. "Hey there. I'm Drew" The quarterback smiled at her. Awh he was cute. "Sup." The other nodded. Obvious that's ' Nate '

"Hey" Riley nodded, before she sighed. "Where are you from?" Nate then asked her. "She's from a small town in Wisconsin" Harper butted in. "Cant she talk herself?" Scarlett stared at her. Harper rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Yep, small ass town. This is huge to me" Riley then told the guys. "Oh, cool." Drew smiled. Riley looked up and down at his outfit. Blue jeans, vans and a converse shirt.

"Where is the third musketeer?" Scarlett asked. "Oh he's around here" Drew smiled. "I think you'll find it, four." Nate told her, kinda cocky. "Austin wishes he was a musketeer" Harper scoffed with a small smile. "He does right?" Drew mocked, before they laughed.

Four of them?

Riley sighed, as she looked around the room at the people.

"Well, we're going to go get a drink and then we'll find you again. Maybe the king of the party will be around" Harper smiled, as she and Scarlett turned. "Sure, we'll be here" Drew smiled. Riley cleared her throat, as she backed away a little before she banged right into someone.

"Oh sorry." She turned, to the tall guy she'd just slightly manhandled to stop herself tripping. Looking up, from his hands that also held her arms a little to stop her tripping she locked eyes with the blue eyes he had. Long brown curls and a cute smile.

Oh crap...
