Twelve...

5:30pm

Riley had changed into some ripped leggings, and a long shirt.

She headed down to the beach, in sandals. The girls texted her telling her they'd meet her there as well.

Walking down the pathway alone, a cool breeze slightly brushed off her bare arms and face. Her baby hairs whirling around, in front of her head. Holding her phone tightly, she looked down towards the beach where she noticed how calm the water was.

It was something you see in movies.

Orange sky with blue water, and small waves.

Smiling, she stepped onto the sand and looked around at some of the strangers that passed her.

Sitting her hand under her opposite arm, she sighed as she looked around. It wasnt horrible here. It was quite nice, of course she was still getting used to it but so far she couldnt complain.

Turning on her heels she began to walk across the sand, as someone called her name. The familiar raspy voice made her turn around. She saw three guys walking towards her, Nate, Drew and Levi. Nate was waving, with a wide smile before the other two boys did the same.

Riley raised her hand as she gave a small wave, before she started walking towards them.

"Hello!" Drew grinned at her, as the four of them came face to face. "Hi there! where's Austin?" She asked them. "Oh he's heading down. He'll be here soon...I guess the same with Scarlett and Harp?" Nate asked her.

"Yeah..." Riley sighed with a smile.

Looking down a little, she noticed they all had their boards with them. "Looking to skate a while?" She asked them. "Yeah, we skated here..." Drew shrugged smiling. "You should've said, couldve brought mine" She winked at them, making Levi chuckle.

"He's still...silent from this after noon!" Nate laughed, referring back to Levi's actions in the store. Drew began to snigger, before Levi shoved his shoulder. "Shut up bro!" Levi smiled, before looking away.

"Dont worry about it. Honestly." Riley smiled. "Your mom didnt wonder why a strange looking guy with curls man handled you?" Nate mocked. "Very funny!" Levi shoved him forward, with slight gritted teeth.

"No she didnt question it. She trusts me, since I didnt hit him..." Riley smirked at Levi, making him smile. "Besides, I've man handled him enough. I'm sure him doing it once, wouldnt be bad" She giggled.

Drew and Nate then frowned a little, as they looked at each other.

"I've fallen over, when Levi's managed to save me before I hit the ground. I've not physically handled him" She then put her point across. "Ohhh" Nate then nodded. "Yeah, how we met" Levi grinned like a small child, making Riley laugh.

"Our awkward...first encounter" Riley cleared her throat, taking some hair away from her face.

"Oh so you did meet before the party?" Drew asked. "Well if you call it that. Riley basically flipped me off." Levi smiled as she swayed his board around in his hands. "I did not. I fell...looked like a boob, and Levi kindly came over to help me. I was just a little dry with him because I didnt know who he was!" She told him wide eyed with a smile.

"Sure, call it that" Levi joked. "Stop being a...boob" Nate then joked, turning to him.

"Hellooo!" A couple voices made them turn.

Down walked Austin and the girls. "Look who we ran into...!" Scarlett smiled, pointing to Austin. "I caught them!" He laughed, as he shook his head.

"I'm surprised those two werent together before hand" Nate mocked, as he smiled deviously pointing to Harper and Austin. "Be quiet child, you dont know anything!" Harper told him.

"Aw you brought the boards." Austin spoke up. "Forgot yours?" Riley asked him. "Ha, Austin doesnt skate." Drew smiled. "How come?" Riley looked at him. "Just...never done it" He shrugged. "We've got a completed team now!" Levi then gasped as he took Riley and brought her forward, towards himself, Drew and Nate.

"Oh, ha ha" Austin rolled his eyes with a smile.

"Four awesome people against, three losers" Levi then winked as he wrapped his arm around Riley's neck and collar bone loosely. Her stomach flipped a little, as she tried to keep calm. "Riles doesnt even have a board" Scarlett told them. "I forgot it." Riley smiled.

"Still doesnt have it...so...she's still ours" Harper stretched out and took her arm pulling her towards them out of Levi's grip.

"Let her go, she's ours!" Levi told her, pulling Riley back towards him before resting his chin on her shoulder. "You've got your pokemon, let her go!" Austin chuckled. "Riley is my new pokemon." He smiled. "I think I should stay here...for now" Riley nodded.

"You'll be here forever." Nate scoffed with a smile, before he walked forward and put an arm around Scarlett. "Why? Am I a rare pokemon?" Riley looked up at Levi. "Very much so." He nodded. "Well, since you've got to catch them all..." She trailed off.

"Ohh that was cheesy!" Harper and Austin laughed.

Levi stared at her with a smile. "Exactly" He nodded. "Come on! Are we hanging out, or what?!" Harper sighed, as she walked forward making Austin and Drew follow her.

"Come on." Riley giggled as she walked forward, out of Levi's grip.
