"So is Cali treating you right, so far?" Logan had asked Riley as she sat with Levi's family around a large dining table. Now accompanied by his little sister.

"Yeah, so far. School isnt that bad, the place is cooler than back home...I've made some great friends" She then smiled, as she looked at Levi. He sat smiling straight at her, before he put his head down and started moving food around on his plate.

"Must be a big change for you, Riley" Levi's mom nodded at her. "Oh yeah, from a small town where it took nearly an hour to get to a store to here..." Riley nodded. "I'm glad your fitting in here, its harsh when its difficult." His mom told her.

"I know, I'm glad, and really lucky to have made friends...so great, and so soon" She smiled. Riley watched as his mom smiled warmly at Levi and his brother.

It was a little confusing to Riley. She'd never seen Logan around. He was the exact same age as Levi, but she'd never seen talk to him at school. When he mentioned he had a brother, she assumed maybe older or perhaps younger. Definitely not a twin.

"Your parents liking it here?" Levi's mom picked up her glass, before taking a sip. "Uh yeah, I think so. My Aunt Jayne actually lives out here, my mom's sister." Riley nodded, as she held her fork. "Oh that's great. It's good to have family around, you must be really close to your mom and dad" She smiled sweetly.

"Mom..." Levi cleared his throat. The smile half dropped from his mom's face as she looked at him. "We dont need to talk about that." He looked at her. She frowned a little, confused. "Its fine Levi" Riley nodded. His mom stared at Riley, before her mouth slowly opened.

"Oh honey, I'm so sorry! Stupid me for opening my big mouth!" She sat up straight. "No no! Your fine, seriously! Dont worry about it" Riley tried to tell her. "You dont know" She shook her head. "That's private. Don't worry honey" She nodded.

"It's alright. I have my parents, it's just...they are working through a couple of things...and my dad may be moving back home. It's kinda complicated" Riley cleared her throat. Logan sat staring at her, before looking away.

"Well...if you ever need anyone, this home...is yours too" She told her. "Thank you, Mrs Jones." Riley smiled. Her heart felt warm. Levi's family was so nice.

"Right." She sighed. "Desert anyone?" She stood up. "Oh, I'll help!" Riley nodded, standing. "No, your our guest. Levi, you mind?" His mom told him. Levi looked up, before nodding and lifting plates. He winked subtly to Riley, before heading into the kitchen with his mom.

"Bet your not used to the weather here either?" Levi's dad chuckled. "Yeah your right. So not used to the sun this much!" Riley smiled nodding. "So...your into alternative bands too?" Logan asked, as he slid from his seat to Levi's which was beside her.

"Um..." Riley began as she looked down at her wristbands. "Yeah, a lot of them" She smiled at him. "Cool. I have a lot of favorites!" He told her. "Yeah same." Riley nodded. "Have you seen any live?" He asked her. "Um, all time low. I was at warped tour last year..." She trailed off.

"Thats awesome!" He nodded, smiling. "Yeah, rocking" She giggled, a little nervously as she looked away.

"Is there a reason why your in my seat?" Levi then spoke as he walked back into the room. "I'm making a friend" Logan then told him, confidently. "Do it later, move" Levi told him, as he walked up to his seat. Logan turned away before he moved back to his own seat. Levi sat down, and placed a bowl down at Riley and for himself too.

10pm

"Thank you for having me over" Riley waved to Levi's mom. "No problem at all. See you later honey!" She grinned happily. Levi walked with Riley to his front door. "Hey Riley"Logan called, and they both turned to him.

"We should hang out, get to know each other" He smiled. Riley smiled, friendly and nodded. "See ya" She then told him. Levi stared at him with a straight face, in fact a not so happy face. "Do you want me too...." Logan began.

"No. Be back soon." Levi told him sternly before he opened the front door, and let Riley out first. Riley walked down the path, as Levi closed the door and followed her. "Your family is really sweet" She told him. "Thanks" Levi then smiled. "You dont need to walk me home" She told him.

"I know, I'll get my head ripped off" He joked. "Hilarious" Riley shook her head. "I'll walk you to the end of the street" He put his hand on her back. Shivers ran down her spine a little, before she looked at him. "So...you didnt tell me you had a twin" She nodded. "Didnt come up in conversation" He chuckled.

"No, but you did say you had a brother. I thought he was older, or even younger. Not a twin. How come I've not seem him around school?" She asked. "He has his own friends" Levi shrugged. "You dont talk to him at school?" She asked.

"Not so much. We have different friends, different timetables, classes..." Levi shrugged. Riley looked straight a head. They got to the end of the street, and stopped before turning to each other. Riley looked up to see Levi's face.

She'd gotten into talking with his family, she'd forgotten about what had happened earlier that day.

Soon nerves struck her, and she stood staring at Levi smiling at her. "Seems like forever ago...earlier on" Levi then spoke up. "I know..." Riley smiled, as she blushed a little. Levi softly took her hand, and intertwined their fingers as he stared at their hands.

He ran his thumb across her knuckles, smiling. Oh gosh.

Riley sighed, as she looked down at the ground.

They both slowly wrapped their arms around each other as they stood for a moment exchanging a hug. Moving their heads away from each other, the exchanged eye contact before Levi moved in and kissed her.

Riley kissed him back before they hugged each other tight. She felt a soft kiss get placed on her neck, making her smile. They let go of each other, as Riley sighed.

"I'll see you...later" She told him quietly. "Wish it was sooner" Levi admitted to her. They both laughed quietly. "Yeah, I agree" Riley told him, before she walked backwards looking at him then finally turning around and walking into her street.
