"That's so unfair! You're on wheels!" Scarlett shouted, as she laughed running after Nate.
"You can't outrun him Scar! Leave it" Harper huffed a little, as she slowed down and stopped.
"He's not running if he's on wheels." Austin stopped beside her. Turning to him, her chest puffing up and down as she tried to control her breathing after running. She narrowed her eyes as they both smirked at each other.
"It's true" He nodded. "Okay, I get it genius!" Harper mocked, as she shoved him a little.
"When are you two going to get together?" Drew then asked as he walked past them, holding his board. "Shut up bro!" Austin sighed.
"Oi, am I not dateable?" Harper folded her arms smiling.
"What? No...I...I mean...you..." He began to stutter. "I'm joking" Harper then nudged him, as she smiled warmly at him.
The both of them stared at each other, before a scream knocked them off each others eyes.
"Nate!" Scarlett screamed as she was now on the board and holding onto Nate's hands as he ran.
"Oh jeez" Harper giggled, as she and Austin headed towards them.
Riley and Levi walked afar behind. At a reasonable distance, but still quite a bit away from everyone else. "Your friends are like kids...I like it" Riley smiled up at him. "We're all big kids" Levi chuckled, as he stared at the ground.
"Yeah especially you. Nerd" She mocked a little. "Pokémon, anime, skating..." Riley then looked away. "I'd fight you about it, but nope. I'm a nerd" He sighed, and grinned at her. "You're lucky I'm one too. Nerds dont leave each other out" She then looked back at him.
The both of them stared at each other.
Levi chuckled weakly. "You're into anime and like boarding. Into bands, and love concerts...are you real?" He then asked her with a smile. "Your friends are the same...kinda" Riley shrugged. "Yeah, but you're a girl. A cool one, at that..." He nodded, blushing a little.
Riley smiled, as her own cheeks flushed pink.
Clearing her throat, she looked away. "Pretty damn special, I could be yeah" She then told him, making them both quietly laugh.
"I like hanging out with you guys. It's like...I'm not an outsider" Riley then told him. "Of course your not!" Levi frowned a little. "Sometimes people are when they move to different places...in this case, from a tiny town to California" She nodded.
"Your not an outsider, and we will never treat you like on. Okay?" Levi smiled at her. "Thank you" Riley reflected his expression, as he put an arm around her and hugged her.
