Fourteen...

Sunday afternoon.

"Are you not out with friends today?" Penny smiled, as she folded clothes in her daughters room.

"Hm...nope. Scarlett is practicing for this test thing...according to Harper everything gets cancelled till its over and done with" Riley smiled, as she flicked a page in her magazine.

"Great, well you can help me today!" Her mom grinned, putting a folded shirt down on the bed. "You need a new one of these..." She then told Riley, as she held up the shirt making it unravel.

Riley looked up and looked at the fading black panic! at the disco shirt. A smile on her face.

"It even has a hole in the shoulder" Her mom then giggled, folding it back up.

"What do you need help with?" Riley then asked her. "Can't dad help?" She asked. Her mom frowned a little. "Anything, housework, folding clothes, changing beds...prepping for dinner" Penny nodded.

"Hm." Riley then sighed, complaining quietly.

"I'll get the duster" She then got up from her bed, and grabbed her phone. Sticking in her back pocket, she took her magazine and put it on her desk.

Her phone chimed.

Taking it from her pocket again, she sighed as she unlocked the screen. Her stomach fluttered a little.

Levi XD : ' Heyyyy. No plans today then? :D '

Riley : ' Nope, none today haha '

"Do we need to prep for dinner?" Riley then asked her mom, taking the empty laundry basket. "Yeah, we're having chicken casserole for dinner" Her mom nodded, "Ooh fancy. Fine, I'll chop the veggies...I like that" Riley nodded as they left her room and walked down the stairs.

"That used to be...." Her mom began. "Dont even say it mom" Riley warned her, as they got the hallway. They both looked at each other silent. "...I dont even care if dad likes chicken." Riley frowned as she walked up the hall.

Penny sighed, as she shook her head. "Honey, you cant be mad..." "Because I dont know. I get it mom, but thats the thing. You've not told me, and I have no clue why! I cant help but think the worst" Riley turned to her.

"Honey it...in time okay?" Her mom nodded with a small smile. "No mom. Until I get told that he did not cheat. I'll assume what I want" Riley nodded.

Someone knocked on the door.

"I'm sorry...I'm not taking anything out on you mom." Riley then smiled, Penny took the basket from her. "I know darling" Penny nodded.

Riley walked back down the hall, and opened the door. She locked eyed with Levi, as he stood smiling.
Shorts, a tyedye shirt and his hair was tied up.

"Hey" He greeted her. Riley's throat went dry "Hi." She then nodded. "Am I disturbing?" He then asked her. "No, your not. No worries" Riley smiled. "Great, well uh...I was just wondering if you didnt have anything to do...maybe we could hang out?" He asked.

Riley stared at him.

"Like...you and I. The guys...are not up to much either so they are doing they're own thing" Levi nodded, he bit his lip a little.

"Um..." Riley began before looking back into her house. Her mom stood smiling, she then gave a little nod of permission before turning back and walking into the kitchen. Riley grew a wide smile on her face, as she turned back to him.

"I'd like that...very much. Thank you" Riley told him as she walked out and closed the door behind her. "Awesome!" Levi nodded, grinning as they headed down her pathway. Riley noticed the small jeep sitting on the road and she stopped.

"You drive that?" She asked him. "...Is that bad?" He asked. "No, no...just...woah" She nodded. Levi chuckled a little. "Yeah, I dont drive it to school coz Austin picks us all up. I hardly take it out, just when my brother and I decide to head out and get chipotle or something" He laughed.

"Brother?" Riley then asked. "Aw yeah...and a little sister" He told her. "Awh okay." She then nodded.

The both of them got into the car.

"So...where here is cool?" She then smiled. "You like music stores?" He asked her. "Obviously!" She looked at him rather offended before giggling. The both of them then laughed.

"Great! I know just the place!" Levi told her with a grin.
