Twenty eight...

Monday Afternoon.

School.

"That's why you didnt sit with the guys this morning?" Scarlett asked, as Riley filled the girls in with what had happened.

"Dude your dad is so harsh" Harper sighed. "Talk about an ungrateful, cheating bastard!" Riley hissed a little. Scarlett raised her eyebrows, as she pouted a little. "Usually I dont care. I'd still hang out with him, but he's threatening to make me go back home. Well, Wisconsin...and something about him was so serious." Riley nodded.

"I dont think he's kidding" She bit her lip. "Where is he living? The middle ages?" Harper frowned. "Just on the safe side" Riley nodded. "How is he going to find out if you've been hanging out with him...at school?" Harper asked.

"I dont know. When I get home, he sticks his hand out and waits for me to give him my phone." She told them. "Holy shit!" Scarlett spoke up. "Yeah. Seriously" Riley nodded. "I cant believe it, he puts us through shit, and thinks Im going to go back home and live with him?!" Riley sat her face in her hands.

"I feel like such a bitch. Every morning I wake up to Levi's messages asking if I'm okay, and good mornings...and I have to delete them so he wont see them. You guys have to pick me up now, which makes it you need to leave earlier...ugh" Riley sighed.

"I want to go back to when...it was cool" She told the girls. "Why dont you just tell your dad, your staying here in cool Cali, and thats it" Harper nodded. "I did. Last night, but he still showed up this morning." Riley sighed.

"My dad is a stubborn person" She told them. The bell went and the girls stood up.

"Just...if you see the guys, or even Levi..please them them my reasons" She asked. "Of course, see you at home time" Harper smiled and nodded. The three girls walked opposite directions, and Scarlett and Harper walked up the stairs.

"This is bullshit, I cant believe her dad. How can he do that?" Scarlett asked. "I know right?! its crazy shit" Harper shook her head, as they climbed the stairs.

Walking down the hallway, she noticed Drew and Levi walking towards them. "Shit." Scarlett made a face. Harper smiled and waved. Levi's face became alarmed as he walked slightly faster towards the girls.

"Hey guys..." Harper nodded. "Where's Riley?" He immediately asked. "Under house arrest...from the 90s" Harper nodded. "What?" Drew asked. "Big fight with her dad. Turns out, if she doesnt back down from hanging out with you...he's taking her back to Wisconsin" Scarlett sighed.

"What?!" Levi and Drew asked. "Yeah. Took her phone, well...when she gets home. Thats why she's not texting you back, Levi. She's not being rude, she's just...unable too" Harper nodded. "No way..." Levi shook his head, he looked generally pissed off.

"So like...she's not allowed to hang out with us?" Drew asked. "Basically. Her dad is heading back on Friday, so maybe when he leaves...it'll be cool again." Harper nodded.

"Can you please tell Riley...if she can, get a hold of me? Its important" Levi asked them. "Yeah course" Harper smiled. "We'll be your little private messengers" Scarlett nodded.
