A week later...

Still no words spoken between Riley and Levi.

They walked right past each other at school, didnt talk to each other, no more texts. Its as if they didnt even know each other. They walked past each other like strangers, but seconds afterwards it'll kill them inside.

Midnight.

Riley lay in her bed, staring around her room. Phoneless, in silence. Her phone was with her dad, and he was still sleeping in the guest room down the stairs. She was thankful her mom was back in the house. Least that was a good thing.

She lay, fidgeting around a little. Annoyed. Hurt. Missing Levi.

Something was itching in her back of her mind to just, go get her phone and call him. The most part of her brain was telling her no. She leaned over and got her headphones before plugging them into her laptop.

She sat her laptop beside her as she played her music.

She wasnt getting to sleep anytime soon. This was ridiculous, to be quite honest.

Listening to songs, it went from one. To five, to fifteen. It was now nearly 1am. One in the morning, she was wide awake. Sitting up, she brought her knees closer to her. Thinking the same thing, over and over as lyrics rolled around in her head.

She wasnt having this anymore.

She threw the covers from her, and took her headphones off. She got up, and grabbed some leggings, shoes and a long shirt. She grabbed her hoodie, and took her hair down from her ponytail before brushing it and putting some quick mascara on.

She opened her room door, closed it and crept down the stairs. Quickly she looked in the living room for her phone, but nope. No sign of it. Her dad must have it, typical. She walked to her front door, and grabbed her keys before unlocking it and leaving. She locked it again, before she walked fast out her drive.

Levi sat on his bed, listening to music. He scrolled down some photos of the guys, and everyone together. He sat smiling as he passed ones with Riley and him. He looked up,  at the time before sighing.

He sat back, resting his head and back against his wall as he thought. One place stuck out in his mind right now. The skate park. He looked over at his board, before looking back at his phone. Soon he got up and grabbed his shoes. Sticking them on, he then left his room and headed upstairs.

He looked around his quiet home, before he took his things, keys and headed out. He closed his front door quietly, before looking around and walking out his gate.

Riley kept walking. She passed some people, some cars. It wasnt empty, they were still people and cars on the streets. At this time where she was in Wisconsin, it would be like a ghost town. No one around, completely empty.

She turned a corner on the main street, and headed towards the skate park. Walking down the stairs, she looked at all the slopes and ramps. She stopped, and looked around as the place was indeed empty. It wasnt eerie though.

She walked towards more steps as she walked down them again before she stopped as something caught her eye. Looking straight a head, she saw Levi walking in her direction. Her stomach flipped once he saw her and stopped. Both of them smiled, before they walked faster towards each other.

Getting closer and closer, they automatically wrapped their arms around each other. "Awhh" Levi grinned, happily. He held his arms around her shoulders, as he buried his head into her neck. Riley took in a large breath before sighing out. They stood a for a while, before letting each other go.

"I didnt actually think you'd be here" He told her. "Me neither...about you." She then smiled. "I've missed you so much" She told him. "Me too, too much!" He told her, before hugging her again.

-

"How did you get out?" Levi asked, as the both of them sat at the top of a ramp. Levi's arm was around Riley, as she sat leaning into him.

"Quietly. No one knows...I'm still phoneless" She nodded. "I dont know, something just...I was home and something was just going around in my mind telling me to get out. Go for a walk. I did, and my feet brought me here" She looked up at him.

"Same" He smiled. "I feel like we've not spoken in years. How is that possible?" Levi asked, as he ran his hand up and down her arm softly. "I have no idea, but its like a huge weight has been lifted...I can breath again." She then admitted, to herself and him. She was surprised.

"I dont know...why..." She then spoke. "Something feels different." She then continued. "Whats going to happen now?" Levi asked. Riley nodded as she sat up, out of his grip.

"Thats it done." She nodded. Levi stared at her. "I dont care what my dad thinks, I'm going to talk to you. Hang out, whatever. If it needs to be under his nose...so be it. I cant do this anymore" She told him truthfully.

Levi smiled widely. "Are you sure?" He asked. "Yeah. I cant not talk to you. Us hanging out, all of us...you and I...its just too awesome" She grinned.

"I agree!" He told her. "It'll be okay, we'll be able to do it. Its the only way right now" She nodded. "Dont worry, we'll make it work" He took her in for a hug. "It'll be our secret" He whispered before he chuckled, making Riley smile.

She brought her arms from in front of her and wrapped them around him, as he did the same.

Finally, they felt normal again.
