Your POV: "In your opinion, what is the most tragic love story of all time?" My literature teacher asked the class. I quickly raised my hand, I knew this one. "Yes, Miss Y/n" she called upon me. "Romeo and Juliet. It tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers, who go against everyone and everything to be together. Unfortunately, it all goes awry, and they end up killing themselves" I answered. "Very good answer. Now, why do you think this story has been used in several adaptions, and is still useful to our generation if it was written several centuries ago?" She asked me again. I thought about it for a second hoping I would be able to answer correctly.

"Well, I think that if two people love each other just as much as they did, then all of humanity can learn from what they went through. Shakespeare wanted everyone to know about the importance of obeying parents, and the importance of parents actually listening to their children's feelings. However, it goes deeper than that, since he also wanted everyone to know that when you're in love, you're going to do stupid things for love....it's just the way love works. I guess, what I'm trying to say is, they both made mistakes, and they didn't get their happy ending, but at least they found their perfect match.... And that's all that matters, even in this generation" I said confidently. "I see, so what you're trying to say is, you support their decisions?" She asked. "Of course. You see, when you find love, you can't help getting butterflies in your stomach, or perhaps even marrying your significant other spontaneously. You just... sort of.... live in the moment. And who doesn't want that? What kind of world would we live in, if love didn't exist, or better yet, if we didn't take risks for love?" I answered. "I take it you've found love yourself?" She smiled, as the class 'oohed'. I rolled my eyes, and answered, "yes mam, I have my very own Romeo, and I would do anything for him".

"Im guessing you made up with Harry?" Kathryn came up to me as I was walking out of literature class. "Yeah... Haha... Isn't that great? He forgave me, he's such a sweetheart" I said, smiling at myself just thinking about him. "Wait, he forgave you? What did you do? I thought this was all on him?" She questioned, confused. "No, I'm the one who should have trusted him, and I didn't. I hurt his feelings after I confronted him, and I needed to apologize. So, technically it was all my fault" I explained. "Umm... Okay... If you say so..." She said, raising an eyebrow. "I do.... He loves me, and he would never do anything to hurt me. I don't know why I doubted him in the first place. Besides, he forgave me, and we are back to the way we were" I said confidently. "As long as your happy" she finally smiled, as we walked over to the next class.

After I finished with Art class, I decided to meet Harry at his locker again. I walked over to wait for him, and Caden came up to me. "Hey" he smiled. "Hey!" I said cheerfully. Caden and I had been good friends since about a year before Harry and I met. Of course once I started dating Harry, Caden and I drifted apart. Nevertheless, we were still part of the same friend group, and we still shared small talk on occasion. "Waiting for Harry?" He asked. "Yeah... I wanted to see if he still had some macaroons left over" I laughed. "Oh, right. Yeah he told me you apologized for something... Good sorry gift" he said, looking at me sympathetically. "Thanks" I said, smiling. "Sorry about leaving in a rush last night... We really did have a great time" I said, changing the subject. "No problem.... Harry usually always leaves my house in a rush like that..." He winked. I laughed, and then I felt someone place their arms around me. "What's going on here?" Harry said, looking back from Caden and I. "I was just here waiting for you and Caden was keeping me company while you arrived" I smiled. "Oh... Okay. Well I'm here now, so I think we'd like a bit of privacy?" He said to Caden. "Yeah, I'll just catch you guys later" he responded, leaving immediately. "So, what are we doing later?" I asked Harry. "I think we should just chill tonight" he smiled. "Sounds great. We can go over to my house and lie on the hammock my mom has in the backyard? I can make us some smoothies?" I suggested. "I love it" he said. I reached up and gave him a kiss, right before the bell rang.
