Your POV: The following day, Caden, Harry, and I decided we were gonna see a movie at Caden's house. I tried to look cute, but casual, as I wore a plain white tee and floral shorts. Harry picked me up, and the drive was silent. It wasn't a comfortable silence, it was more of an awkward one. I don't know what it was. Perhaps Harry felt that I was beginning to lose trust in him, or perhaps I was trying to keep that trust, yet failing to do so.
We walked hand in hand towards Caden's house once we parked in his driveway, and knocked on the door. Once he let us in, I noticed he had set up a table filled with many snacks and appetizers. "What's all this?" Harry asked, clearly confused. "Well, I just thought I'd buy some good snacks now that Y/n is joining us. Why? Is it too much?" He asked, self conscious. "No, everything looks delicious! Thanks for having us" I smiled to him, but I could see Harry glaring at him from the corner of my eye. Weird.
We decided to watch The Notebook. They both pretended they were only doing it for me, but I knew they secretly enjoyed it.
After that, the afternoon went pretty smoothly. We ate some tacos, played some video games, and then it was time for us to go. "I hope you had a good time" Caden smiled to me, and I smiled back. "I did... This was fun. We should do it again sometime". Harry immediately said goodbye, and pulled me with him. "What was that all about?" I said, slightly annoyed, once we were both in his car and driving away. "Why did you really want to come?" He asked again. I was really getting tired of this. "Because I wanted to spend some time with you. Don't I deserve that?" I asked him, ready for whatever was next. "Y/n... You've been acting weird since yesterday. You can't just lie to my face, I know when you're lying. Just tell me why you wanted to come" he said softly, with his eyes glued to the road. I finally gave up, he knew me too well. To be honest, I think it was better just to lay it all out. I wanted answers just like he did. "Fine... The truth is, I heard some girls from the cheer squad talking about you. One of them, Hillary, said you were at her house the other night" I admitted. As the words came out of my mouth, I knew the situation would become more intense, but all I wanted was the truth. I deserved it.
He thought about this new information for a couple seconds, before he could answer. "So, you're basically saying you don't trust me? You came tonight, just so you could check up on me? I told you I was at Caden's. You don't have to keep tabs on where I am and when" Harry said, realization hitting him hard. "I know, but I just, couldn't help but feel insecure. I mean, why would she mention you without any reason? We aren't even friends with her" I replied. "I don't know! She's probably just jealous of what we have! Honestly Y/n, I never would have expected this from you. I thought we had a solid relationship, but from what I'm hearing, I was very wrong. You don't trust me, you're jumping into conclusions, and worst of all, you believe anything you hear... I need some time to think" he said. I was already in pain. I felt so stupid, just like I knew I would. He was right, I shouldn't have been acting like this. I should have trusted him. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me?" I said, as my eyes started to burn with the salty tears that were approaching. "I think it's best if we just... leave this alone for tonight. We can talk tomorrow" he said, not even looking at me as he parked in front of my house. I wanted to go back to the way we were, to the cuddles and kisses, but I had screwed up. I just opened the car door, and walked into my house.
When I laid in bed, my tears instantly poured down. This had been our very first fight, and I was the one who had caused it.
