Your POV: A few weeks later, we were finally graduates. We all cried, well us girls cried, the "men" just acted cool. "Harry, I can't describe how handsome you look in that cap and gown" I said, hugging him while everyone else was getting congratulated by their respective families. He smiled, pecking my forehead as I hugged him tightly. I was so happy to be in his arms, sharing this moment with him.
6 years. I have spent 6 entire years of my life, with Harry, my perfect match, my Romeo, my everything. I love him so much it hurts within, but that pain feels great. I can't even explain it.
We walked over to Anne, and she took a photo of us. "I'm so proud of you Harry. But don't forget, no matter where you are, you'll always be my baby" she said, sniffling. That melted my heart, even Harry's, since he walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Congrats Sis, you made it!" Gemma said, handing me roses. "thanks!!! High school has definitely been one hell of a ride..." I said while hugging her. "What? No, I meant you actually managed to survive in a 6 year relationship with Harry" she giggled, and I followed in. Gemma always made me laugh with her sarcasm.
My mom came up to us, handing me another bouquet and some balloons. I grinned, but then I started crying again as my mom hugged me tightly, telling me how proud she was.
We all decided to go to dinner to celebrate, and I couldn't help but smile widely as both our families were spending quality time together. "What should I order babe?" I asked Harry when the waitress handed us our menus. "I really like the lasagna they have here" he smiled. "Ok, I think I'll try the lasagna then" I smiled back. "You're always so helpful babe" I said, giving him a kiss. The rest of the night, we shared good laughs as both our moms embarrassed us with memories of our childhood.
The next day was a Saturday, or should I say THE Saturday. The one Melina promised we would all remember. I was excited, I knew the effort she had put into her beach house party, and how much effort we all put into helping her out. Once I finished helping her put out the last few decorations in the early morning, I went home, took a steamy shower, and smiled at the dress I had already laid on my bed. I admired it, thinking back to when I purchased it, specifically for tonight. I knew Harry would like it, it was in his favorite color, a beautiful sea green. I went over to my vanity, and began to apply my makeup. I then blow dried my damp hair, and styled it perfectly. Once Harry texted me, telling me he was already on his way over, I eagerly replied telling him I was ready. I waited downstairs on my couch, watching tv when I heard him knock on the door. I walked over to open it, and he grinned. "Hey babe" he said, pecking me on the lips, like he always did. I smiled at his cuteness and we walked towards his car, ready to party with our friends one last time.
As we arrived at the beach, I noticed it was already packed with parked cars, and I knew Melina definitely had a full house. Once Harry found an open spot, he helped me out, taking my long dress in his hands to prevent it from getting too sandy. We walked through the big doors of the beach house, and were immediately hit by the sound waves of the loud music. There were so many people here, some that I hadn't even met before, and everyone seemed to be having a blast. "Hey!! You guys look great!!! Make yourselves at home, and most of all, have an amazing time!!" Melina said quickly, and then walked over to the next group of people coming in. "Wanna dance?" I asked Harry, and he nodded. We walked over to the open space in the large living room, where everyone else was dancing. It had been decorated nicely with twinkling lights above the ceiling. Harry and I started dancing, right beside our friends Landon and Gracie, as they were grinding on each other. I laughed, and decided to place my back on Harry as well. He held my waist as I placed my hands on his neck, and we continued dancing this way for a while.
We were having so much fun, as it began getting dark outside. The lights around us seemed to shine brighter, and everyone was doing their own thing. I turned towards Harry now, as a slow song started playing, and placed my head on the crook of his neck. "Don't let me go. I want you to hold me this way forever" I said, as our bodies swayed. I didn't hear him respond, but that was okay, I knew he wouldn't. Once the song ended, the Dj started playing loud music again, and I knew the sweet moment was lost. I took that opportunity to use the ladies' room, and Harry said he would get us some drinks.
We parted ways and I noticed there was a very long line to use the ladies' room, and I just sighed as I waited in line myself. "Hey beautiful! How's your night goin?" Kathryn said as she waited in line behind me. I smiled widely, telling her it was going fantastic. She said it was going good for her as well, and that she had met a really hot guy that happened to be attending her college. I was really happy for her, and with so much girl talk, the time seemed to have flown by and it was my turn next. When I finally got out, I hoped to find Harry quickly, so that we could dance again. I walked over to the kitchen, where all the guys were drinking shots of different mixed drinks, but I couldn't find Harry. I looked several other places: the living room, the other restroom, even outside on the beach. I finally gave up, hoping he hadn't become impatient and had just left me. I sat all alone in the sand, watching the fireworks Melina had ordered, and the waves that were crashing in. I didn't want to be alone, but the house was way too crowded and I couldn't find Harry anywhere. I finally realized how sad I had become, when someone sat beside me.
