Harry POV: I was looking at all the random people around me, observing the way they danced carelessly.
I was having no fun at all, and I couldn't do anything about it. I hated this stupid club, and I hated the people that came here, including myself. It's sad to think that I had always been an impatient person with you, but here I was, waiting on Hillary as she danced the night away. I wanted to drive away, I wanted to leave her here. I wanted to do that so very badly, but I couldn't. I knew that I had brought this upon myself.
I found myself staring at Hillary, only it wasn't the type of staring from before. It was a whole lot different. I can't believe I used to think so highly of her, thinking she was the most beautiful girl in the world. That was a complete lie. She had everything I didn't want in a girl. Once again, the sad truth was present, as I thought about Caden's words. "She isn't even all that to be honest..." His voice echoed inside my mind.
I began thinking about you again, and the more I tried to concentrate on staring at Hillary, the worse it became. My mind was really having a laugh, and my heart was the one that suffered the pain and anguish.
I was finally able to take make mind off of you, just as soon as I noticed something.
Hillary, grinding on some random, older, drunk guy. He might have even been an ex convict, or a rapist, but there she was, dancing and feeling him up.
How could she do this, right in front of me? I was her boyfriend, and I was still here for her despite her treating me like a dog.
When she kissed him, that's when I realized I couldn't take it any longer. I stomped my way over there, removing his face from eating hers. "What the hell?" He said to me, angered. "That's my girlfriend!" I said through the music. I wasn't afraid, I was a pretty tall guy. "Harry, stop being so clingy, and go get us all some drinks" Hillary said, definitely not helping. "You heard the lady... Go get me a beer while you're at it" he chuckled, taunting me. "No! Get away from my girlfriend!" I said, taking a stand. "Who's gonna make me?" He said, still laughing. "Who else?" I said, stating the obvious.
I knew what was coming next, but I was tired of being the nice guy. I wasn't going to watch this girl cheat on me, and I wasn't going to continue doing whatever she asked.
He threw the first punch, right in my face, and I tackled him. I was confident that I could win, but unfortunately, that's not all I needed at this point. He rolled me over, and hit me in the gut, taking all my air out. I couldn't breathe, and that was causing me so much pain. The pain was far from over though, because he kicked me where it hurt the most, and punched my face one last time, giving me a black eye.
I managed to see Hillary, who was laughing, as she rolled her eyes at how pathetic I looked. He whispered something in her ear, and she giggled, nodding. They disappeared into the crowd, and that was it.
I lay there for a couple minutes, before security dragged me out. I didn't know what else to do. My so called "relationship" with Hillary was over, and I was indeed left with nothing.
