thank you for 1.4k reads and over 100 votes!! here's a boring wedding plan chapter to say thank you. oh, and the actual wedding will be happening a couple chapters from now! get ready 2 cri :') enjoy !!
a knock rose on the door, echoing throughout the hallway. "i'll get it!" josh yelled, running towards the door. opening it, he peeked his head out only to be met with brandee standing there with her planners and computer. "hello joshua!" she cheered, waving. josh opened the door wider and smiled. "hey brandee! come in, come in." he offered.
"ty! brandee's here!" his voice bounced off the walls, all in hopes of tyler hearing him. as josh and brandee sat down at the table, they could hear tyler's feet patter against the stairs, the sound gradually getting louder. "hey brandee, hi babe." tyler said, planting a kiss on josh's cheek and shaking hands with brandee.
"okay boys, have you two decided on the venue, the suits, the cake or any extra things you'd like at the wedding? i've already found a photographer and a minister." both tyler and josh had huge smiles on their faces, excited to tell brandee that they did indeed find a venue, their perfect suits, and their beautiful cake. they also ended up finding an archway with fairy lights attached to stand under as they become official.
"we actually did find those things! lemme go grab my laptop to show you the cake and the suits. oh! and we also find this really pretty archway!" josh exclaimed, getting up. leaving tyler and brandee alone. "so, tyler! are you excited to become mr. dun?" brandee smiled, taking tyler's hand in hers. tyler smiled in return, "of course. i mean, it's really scary to think about, b-but i'm ready." before brandee could reply, josh returned with his computer in hand.
"okay so for suits we decided on these" he said, turning his laptop to face brandee.

"and i'm hoping you kept the budget on the suits decent?" she asked. josh nodded, "mhm, each suit costs $229.99, double that and it is $459.98." brandee's face lit up, "awesome! good choice, josh. that's a very nice suit, by the way. and for the cake?"
"it looks like this," josh says, flipping the computer around to show. "we were inspired by this one on pinterest and decided its perfect. we love it a lot and hopefully we can get it made just like this one."

"i surely can do that for you boys. and i agree, that cake really is beautiful. now how much does that cost?" tyler replied this time. "$451 flat," brandee picked up her calculator, "alrighty, the suits plus the cost of the cake comes out to $910.98. you guys are doing great with this. and you mentioned an archway you'd like to include? is that correct?" she asked. josh nodded and pulled up the photo.
"yup, and it looks like this. this one specifically is $46.99."

"great! that's so cute!" brandee smiled, "you two are now at $957.97. like i said earlier, i found a wonderful minister to pronounce you both and a photographer who is willing to take photos of you both for 5 hours. she charges $200 an hour, along with the minister who is asking for $100, plus the license fee, which is $85. that adds a total of $1185 to your budget right now. all together, your total is $2142 dollars and 98 cents, which is under your max. if you'd like to add anything, you most certainly can as long as its under $850 dollars!"
tyler ran a hand through his hair and josh rubbed his face, both of them sighing. "wow, jeez, okay. that's-that's great! we'll uh, we'll let you know if there's anything else we need to add." josh said. "now one more thing before i go, you two have decided on the venue, right?" they nodded. "we decided to have it at the park we had our first date at, which is also the park we got engaged at as well. i guess that park really means something to us. plus we don't have to rent it out or anything." tyler says with a toothy grin.
"that's too sweet," she smiles, collecting her things and standing up. "you both seem to be right on track with this wedding arrangement! next week, i'll come back to discuss the date the big day is on! i'll see you then!" brandee says, hugging them both and walks out the door to her car.
tyler closes the door and sighs. "this wedding planning stuff is super freaking stressful." he groans. josh walks towards tyler and wraps his arms around his waist. "it'll all be worth it in the end, baby boy, i promise. because when i marry you, i'm gonna marry you so hard and you're going to love every second of it."
