SHAILEY

I was walking back and looking at the stars. It was very pretty tonight.

"Are you sure you can just leave them?"

I jumped out and made a noise.

"Don't just lurk around there! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

Zack was leaning against the wall.

"Were you spying on me!" I yelled at him.

"Not my decision."

"What a jerk." I was turning to leave when Zack said

"I can sense another monster here. You better be careful."

I ignored him and walked home.

Next morning, my alarm clock didn't ring. I quickly got changed and ran to school.

Just as I reached the door, the bell rang, so I ran to class.

A janitor yelled, "Hey! No running!"

"Sorry." I yelled back.

I made it. Everyone was busy around the guys that they didn't even notice me.

Mia and Sarah came over, but Sarah looked a little different.

"Hey, Sarah I've never seen you wear black before."

"Oh, it's just a change of style." She said.

"I hope you guys were ok walking back home."

"It was fine." Sarah quickly said.

Weird. It was usually Mia who speaks first.

We took our seats and I saw a note on my desk.

I opened it and a perfect handwriting was written.

It read:

Be careful of Sarah.

Zack

Why should I?

I turned around to face Zack and crumbled it in front him.

During lunch I found Mia but I didn't see Sarah.

"Whats up?" Mia said

"Where's Sarah?"

"She said she has something I do."

"Oh."

"I think something's wrong with Sarah." Mia suddenly said

"I saw, maybe she had a bad morning."

"Rarely."

We are in silence and the guys showed up.

They sat at our table and started talking. Then Sarah came over.

"Hey, can you help me with something Shay?"

"Sure."

I got up to follow and realized that Zack was looking our way.

"What happened?" I asked

"I accidentally lost my text book in the storage room and the light won't open. It's a huge room and I'm scared."

"So you want me to go in and get it?"

"Please."

"Sure."

We went to the room and the light seriously won't open.
