We stared at each other for what felt like hours. He hadn't changed a bit; still looked handsome as ever.

Sans scratched the back of his skull awkwardly, still staring at me in shock. "(Y/n)?"

"Sans?! What are you-!? When did-?!" I paused for a second and asked myself something. Since when did he get a girlfriend?! Who does she think she is? I looked away and crossed my arms, "Hello Sans. Surprised to see you here."

I could here his footsteps grow near, but comes to quick hault. I turn to see Chara holding Sans hand and slightly behind him. He chuckled once again, nervously, "Iris? I um... I didn't expect to see you here? Why are-?"

"I'm here because this was the concert where it would determine my entire career of dancing. And don't call me Iris. I'm not a baby anymore," I interupted, feeling very annoyed. If he was going to go even remotely close to Snowdin, why not call? Why not tell me he would be there? Apparently someone was more important than that.

He let go of the Chara's hand and tried to put his on my shoulder, but I jerked away from him with a glare. "Iris.. Come on. We've been best friends for a long time."

"Were best friends. Then you just.. Left. Left me without giving me a reason why. You hardly told me that you were leaving until you were just gone! Now you come back with some girl?!"

Chara looked offended by my comment, but I honestly could've cared less.

"I thought.. we were best friends, Sans.." I said, slightly hugging myself to make the sadness go away. That was until I felt his arms wrap around me and squeeze me lightly, "I'm sorry. I didn't want to leave you. Papyrus.. he booked a train to the other side of the underground and didn't tell me til last minute."

"Then why didn't you call?"

"Because I wanted to surprise you. I was going to come after the performance.. I didn't realize you'd be a performer."

I backed away from him and looked up to see his eye sockets. He seemed to feel guilty, although I was the one who should have felt guitly. I shouldn't have yelled at him. He had his reasons after all.

"I.. I guess you're right. I'm.. I'm sorry," I said looking away from him, now slightly embarrassed of the scene I had made. He cleared his throat and put a hand on my shoulder, "Your performance was pretty damn good. Seems you've out done my expectations."

I perked up at his comment and turned to him smiling, "Really? You think I did okay?"

"Okay? Iris, you were outstanding! It's no wonder you won first place."

My smile grew even wider. I was so happy. Sans saw my performance and loved it. Suddenly it felt that waiting for him all those years, would finally be worth it.

"Well," Chara said putting a hand on Sans' shoulder, "We should go. Don't want to be late for dinner."

He nodded, then turned back to me and took my hand in his, "I'll see ya around, my little rookie," He gave me a wink and then pressed a kiss to my hand. Shivered sputtered down my body.

"Okay," I said as he turned and walked away, Chara holding onto his arm. Although I was super jealous, I was too busy thinking of his kiss on my hand. She was so lucky to have him.

《Time Skip》

"Listen and hear the song the birds are signing. Sit down and watch the flowers blooming..."

"(Y/n)?" Grillby said my name as he approached me from behind. I turned and grabbed his hand, spinning myself around. He was caught off guard and allowed me to spin myself. Normally, people didn't touch him because he was on fire. Me? I could easily handle that.

He stopped me in mid spin and I looked up at him, smiling, "Did you enjoy my performance today?"

He nodded, "It was wonderful, as always."

My smile grew and I sat on a bar stool, kicking my feet beneath me. He sighed, "I haven't seen you this happy since you first did a balloné correctly. Is it because you got first place?"

"Mm... Sorta," I said, adjusting myself on the stool. Grillby seemed slightly confused, "Sorta? Aren't you excited that you're going on to the next round?"

"Oh of course! It's just.. That's not the only reason that I'm so happy."

"Then why are you so happy?"

I gave out a happy sigh, gazing around with a smile and dazed eyes. That's when Grillby groaned, "Don't tell me it's a boy, (Y/n). I can't afford another 'stage' like that?"

I looked to him and slightly pouted, "Aw come on, Grill. You know him. It isn't that bad."

"Who?"

I stood up and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a ketchup bottle. As I walked back out to the bar, Grillby stared at me, very confused. I set the bottle down and smiled, "Let's play charades."

"(Y/n). I am no good at charades."

"This one should be easy," I said as I gave a lazy smile and pretended to drink from the ketchup bottle. Instantly Grillby knew who it was, "Sans?!"

"Ding ding! We have a winner!"

"He moved away years ago! Don't tell me you-!"

I interupted him, "I saw him after the concert. He had a girlfriend, but.. I don't know. I think I still like him."

"Think?" He asked sarcastically.
