I began to walk home. The moon was starting to peak over the horizon. It made me smile, seeing the bright moon peaking out at me.

I continued walking down the road, into Hotlands. I passed Grillby's and saw him locking up through the window. He looked up and saw me. His face slowly showed a hint of happiness before he looked away again.

I sighed as I turned back towards the road, following it further into Hotlands. Tomorrow my newest Dance Competition letter would arrive. I was so excited. I had been waiting for it to arrive all week and it was about to finally arrive. Or maybe it was the letter Sans had given me, earlier that morning. I was too caught up with whatever was happening to realize that it might have been the letter.

Just as my thoughts returned to the road, something hit me, hard. So hard that it caused me to fall backwards. I rubbed my head, before I was picked back up by the collar. An angry looking guard-like man stood before me, growling.

"Ah.. You caught her. Well done. Well done in deed."

Me eyes shot over to Chara, standing next to the man with an innocent smile on her damned face.

I growled, "Chara!? What are you doing here?!"

She snickered and rolled her eyes, as if it was obvious, "I'm here for you. Wasn't that clear?"

"You can't do this. If Sans finds out-!"

"He already knows what he's done. He had every chance and he blew it. How? Why, even after I told him to stay away from you.. To not show any affection to you. I told him that he can't help you, and what does he do?! He holds your hand and kisses you?! Oh hell no!"

"Isn't this overprotective, Chara?"

She glared at me, angrily, "A: I'm his girlfriend. B: It was part of our agreement. He knew what would happen if he didn't do as I say. So now you both suffer the consequences."

I struggled in the man's grip as I spoke, "I don't understand! Why do you want Sans to be with you so badly?! You treat him like shit!"

She snickered and turned away, putting her hands behind her back, "Lights out, Iris."

Before I could even think, I felt pain and then nothing. I was knocked out.

Sans P.O.V.

It was almost ten in the mornidoor,I wasn't sure what I was going to do today, mostly because I never really had much to do anymore. I could go see Iris again, although, I felt like I was using up my welcome. Or maybe I wasn't.

That's when I heard my phone ring. I walked over to look at the Caller ID. Chara.

Ugh.

I picked up and answered, "What do you want?"

"Ah. Sans! I want to go out on a date. Eat somewhere ya know."

I groaned, but not loud enough for her to hear, "Alright. When and where?"

"Now at my place."

That was.. Odd. She never ever wanted me inside her house. Especially not for a date. Did she have something planned?

¶Time Skip¶ Brought to you by spaghetti.

I knock on Chara's door, but then open it, letting myself in. Chara was sitting on her couch, petting a black cat. Since when did she have a cat?

"Finally. Its about time."

"Why a date at almost 11 in the morning? Its too early for this."

"Pfft. Too early? I'd say that you are too late," she smiled mischievously, continuing to pet her cat who seemed to be glaring at me. I hated that damn cat, even though I've only known it for exactly two minutes.

I also didn't know what she meant by too late. Too late for what? Should I have dressed faster? Maybe I shouldn't have showered. I don't know what this woman wants.

"Anyway. Its your birthday next week right?"

I completely forgot about my birthday. With everything happening with Chara and Iris, I've been to worried and flustered to think about that. But she was right. My birthday was next week.

"Y-Yeah. Why? You didn't get me a present, right? I'm not sure how much I like the presents you've given me before."

"Oh you'll like this one. But that comes later. First, I want you to meet someome," she turned her head to the kitchen entryway and yelled, "Henry!!"

A tall man in armor walked into the room. He was quite intimidating and angry looking.

"Sans. Meet Henry. He's my henchmen that worked for me back where I used to own my company. He does all my dirty work when I don't want to get my hands dirty."

I didn't like where this was going at all, "Why do you need him? What did you do?"

"Nothing that you didn't see coming. Besides, no one died. Yet."

"What the fuck do you mean yet?! What the hell did you do?!" I yelled, getting extremely irritated. What could she have possibly done? She didn't see anything that happened between me and Iris.. Right?

"Henry? Go get Sans' birthday present," she smiled as he left the room. Then a very familiar voice could be heard.

"Get your filfthy hands off me!! I swear you-" then the voice was muffled. I could recognize that voice anywhere.

Henry threw Iris, tied up and gagged, on the floor.

I fucked up. Badly.
