Chapter 18: Laser tag

It's the middle of the night and I'm BORED AS HECK!!!

No sleeping is not an option, even though I love sleeping almost as much as I love food (Who am I kidding nothing and I mean NOTHING can replace my love of food) but sleep is boring unless I fall asleep right away and have a dream but I just ate almost a whole freaking box of cheeseits so I'm good!!!!

ANYWAYS HERE YA GO!

Me, Louis, and Zayn are in Louis' car heading to lazer tag. To be honest I can barely hold my excitement in it's been forever since I went laser tagging!

"Are we thereeee yet?" I whine.

"We'll get there when we get there!" Louis yells at me.

"But I gotta peeeeee" I whine some more.

"Do you SEE a bathroom around here?!"Zayn says.

"Ug fine" I say and slump back in my seat and my phone goes off.

'New Message From 'Teddy Bear'

'Where are you guys?'

'On our way to laser tag wanna come:)'

'Which one?'

"Um hey Louiscakes what's the lasertag place called that were going to?" I ask.

"N & B lasertag" He answers.

'N&B laser tag' I text him back, wait N &B?

"What the heck is n&b?" I ask dumbfounded.

"Nean and black lights" Zayn replies to me with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Well that's retarded"

"Someone isn't a happy camper!" Louis sings.

"Shut up Louis"

'Ok can I come' He asks

'Yep :)'

'Thanks meet ya there'

When we get there it's practically empty because it's a weekday. We decide rent the laser tag part for just us four alone, less chaotic.

"Me and Lou against Liam and Gracie?" Zayn says, we agree and strap on our gear.

"When you get hit it'll paralyze you for 15 seconds and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...." That's all I heard the man say before he yelled 'GO!'

Liam grabs my arm and we took off in the opposite direction than Louis and Zayn. We find an open space between a neon wall, Liams white shirt is glowing from the black light and my white skinny jeans are doing the same.

"How about we each go on a different side of the wall and see if they're around here?" Liam says and we both get up on different sides of the wall and start walking to the point where Liam goes out of sight.

Just then I hear something so I frantically look around. Out of no where Louis comes running, throws me over his should and runs off in another direction.

"LIAM! LOUIS HAS ME HELP!" I scream.

"GRACIE?!" He yells back and I try to shoot Louis but it's really hard since I'm on his shoulder and I cant see anything I'm supposed to shoot. He then drops me in this room where Zayn is waiting, it looks like a creepy laboratory.

"She's arrived" Zayn says poking me with his gun, leading me to the corner. I reach for my gun but once I do Zayn puts his gun on the headband I have on my forehead.

I run.

Before I even run 4 feet Zayn shoots me in the back. I fall to the ground pretending to be paralized cause it makes the game more fun! He walks up behind me and once my time is up and shoot him and run. I'm surprised at how that worked.

"LIAM!" I scream frantically searching for him.

I finally see him trapped in a corner and Louis in front of him.

"DUCK!" I yell to Liam and he ducks. Louis turns around and sees me but he's to late, I've already shot him in the chest.

"YES!" I scream and lift me gun in the air.

"NO *insert preferred swear word here* FAIR!" Louis screams back then falls on the ground, paralyzed. Just then Liam jumps up and tackles me then points his gun at something.

"What the heck Liam!" I yell. He gets off me and reaches his hand out and I grab it. He helps me up then I see Zayn laying on the ground, paralyzed

"Aww Liam you saved me!"

"We gotta go" He says and picks me up by the waist, carrying me like I'm a purse.

"I can walk you know" I say as he runs away from Louis and Zayn.

After we run away we hide in a corner behind some fake neon bushes.

"Thanks for saving me" I whisper.

"I had too"

We just stare at eachother for a while, you'd expect it to be awkward but honestly it's not. I stare into his large, brown eyes, as he stares into blue-green ones. Just as I open my mouth to say something he takes the opportunity to kiss me. He cups my cheeks and crashing his lips into mine. It takes me by surprise but I start to feel more comfortable, I place my hands in his hair as he places his behind my back.

"Liam, what was that" I say pulling out of the kiss.

"I don't know" He says and right as the timer dings telling us the game is over. We look for the exit but we're lost.

"Gracie..." He says grabbing my arm and stopping me.

"Yeah?" I say just then Louis and Zayn run up to us.

"You guys coming the exits this way" Zayn says and we all walk off for the exit. Liam grabs my hand and squeezes it but I pull my hand away from his and shake my head at him.

"Welcome back I'm glad you survived!" The man says and we run to the score board and it says me and Liam won!

"YAY!" I scream and jump on Liam and he almost falls.

"Whatever let's just go" Louis says and he and Zayn walk off to the exit.

"Well someone's a sore loser" I say and then the guide man person thingy comes up to me and Liam

"No sexual content in the arena"

Arena? I think to myself.

"We only kissed sir" Liam says being the sweet gentleman he is.

"Well it is NOT allowed" He says and stomps off.

"He's just jealous cause he can't have you" Liam whispers to me and I shove him laughing.

"Shut up you weirdo!" I say still laughing "Cause you can't have me either"

He runs up behind me and wraps his arms around me.

"What?" He asks.

"You heard me" I say. He continues right behind me, his chest pressed into my back, my legs getting tangled up with his to the point we nearly trip.

"Didn't you feel something there Graciekins?" He asks.

"Yes babe but...I don't know I'm sorry, just give me some time ok?" I say and he nods so I kiss him on the cheek just as we see Zayn and Louis driving off, out of the parking lot.

"WAIT!" We scream and try running after them but its a little to late, we just burst out laughing.

"I guess we have to walk home" He says.

"Ug it's a freaking long walk" I say pretty ticked but he bends down.

"Hop on" I do as he says, wrapping my arms around his neck to keep my balance. "I'm not doing this the whole way home"

I put on my sunglasses and bury my head in his neck when I see paparazzi start to walk up.
