Chapter 22: Rescuing Gracie

!GRACIE POV! (Earlier)

Macie throws clothes at me and I try them on "How do I look?" I ask "Marvelous! Now you have to go or you'll be late" She says and we run downstairs and she hands me her keys and my purse "Have fun!" She says and pushes me out the door but as I leave I hear a bunch of BYES coming from everyone

I get in her car and head to Lé Café, on my way there I start thinking about why Liam wouldn't ask me out, I can tell he likes me so what's the matter ug this is horrible I can't ask him out that'd be bad when is he gonna do it!!!

Just then I get to the restaurant and I grab my purse and lock the car door and head inside when I do I look around to see someone in particular who will be alone and will probably notice me

"Over here" A man says motioning me to his table, his voice sounds extremely familiar but it's really scratchy and sorta weird, he is wearing sunglasses and a hat "What's up with this guy?" I think to myself and walk over to the booth he is sitting at and I take a seat across from him

"Are you the man I'm supposed to be meeting?" I ask and he nods and the waitress comes and asks for our drinks "Um pepsi" I say "I'll have a beer- I mean sweet tea" He says really fast and the lady leaves

This guy gives me the creeps what the heck does he have to do with my surprise

"Come on your surprise is this way" he says grabbing my wrist and pulling me out the seat and he takes me through the restaurant and he's heading toward the back door, I try to release from his grip but everytime I do he just tightens it

"Your hurting me" I say and he shoves me out the back door away from the restaurant "Where are we going?" I ask as he goes around a few more corners and his grip gets tighter and tighter "That hurts!" I yell and he shoves me into an alley

"What are you doing?!" I yell looking around for a way out but it's surrounded by brick

There is no way out except they way we came in and he's blocking it

"Oh and by the way, when I was holding on to you really tight it was supposed to hurt" He says "What why-" But I'm cut off when he takes off his hat and sunglasses

"D-dad?" I say so shocked I feel frozen and I barely notice him running at me

Then he punches me in the face hard with knocks me back to reality

[MACIE POV!!!] Back to real time

Liam is driving like a maniac with Zayn in the passenger seat and I'm sitting on Niall's lap on the edge Perrie's in the middle and Eleanor is on Louis' lap on the other side of Perrie, and Niall calls Harry 'Yeah he's got her he's gonna kill her!'.........'Meet us at the restaurant!' He screams in the phone and hangs up while Zayn is calling Pete 'He's gonna try to kill her meet us at the restaurant!' He says and hangs up

"She's could be dead now" I whisper "No she's not were gonna save her" Niall says "Yeah Mac it's ok" Perrie says putting a hand on my shoulder "No! It's not ok!" I scream and start crying into Niall's chest and he rubs my back and now were here and everyone jumps out and runs in the restaurant

"She's not here!" Niall screams and by now everyone is staring at us and we see a waitress "Did you see a young girl in here she would've been sitting alone with an older man" I yell at the waitress "Yes, they went out the back" She says right as Pete, Luke, Harry and Marissa all run in

"Have you found her?!" Marrisa crys "No but they said he took her through the back door" Zayn says "WELL LET'S GO!" Pete yells and we all run through the back door and notice tons of ways he could've taken her

"Let's split up into groups of two, hurry!" I say and everyone goes with their date except Liam and we all run in a different directions

[LIAMS POV!!!!]

I'm on my own, I have to save Gracie, she has to know I wanna be with her

I hear some yelling and I follow it and it leads me to an alley I peek in and see her laying on the ground curled up in a ball and her dad's kicking her

'I FOUND HER!' I send to everyone really fast along with a picture of where I'm at so they no where to go

I run in the alley and tackle him "DON'T TOUCH HER!" I scream and punch him in the face and run over to Gracie "LIAM LOOK OUT!" I hear one of the boys scream and I see everyone running down the alley, I turn around and see her dad "Move" He growls but before I can say anything all the boys are tackling him and trying to pin him down and Perrie,Eleanor and Marrisa are all calling 911 and Macie and Pete are helping the boys pin her dad down

"L-Liam" I hear Gracie say and I turn around and see her

Her eye is swollen and she has bruises all over her body from where he was kicking her, I swoop her up bridal style "Gracie Travis, will you go out with me" I ask knowing it not the right time "Gosh Liam it's about time" She says and I press my lips into hers, I'm still holding her so.it's the perfect moment

But them someone taps my shoulder "I'm sorry to bother your sweet moment but I sorta just almost killed one of my best friends and I'd like to see her" Macie says sniffing so she was probably crying, so was Gracie, and Pete comes up too so I set her down and Macie and Pete tackle her in a hug

"Careful guys" She says half laughing "Sorry!" They both say and then Marrisa puts her phone back in her pocket "Gracie!" She yells and Macie and Pete get out of the way to let Marrisa through and she hugs Gracie

"Your ok!" She says "Um not really" She says limping over to lean on me and smiles up at me

"I HATE YOU GRACIE!" Her dad yells at her and tears fill her eyes "Don't listen to him" I tell her but then he starts to cuse her out and all the boys holding him down are yelling at him to stop but he won't so I pick her up to carry her away from him and all the girls follow except Perrie and Eleanor who are still on the phone with 911

We go far away to where we can barely hear him and then the police pull up and we watch them run out and they grab him and shove him in the back of the cop car

"This is the second time I've watched my dad get put in the back of a cop car going to jail" Gracie whispers and I'm still holding her "Gracie I'm so sorry!" Macie says "It's not your fault Macie!" She says and every one brightens up then the rest of the boys run over "GRACIE!" The yell and I set her down and the boys envelop her in a hug
