Chapter 52: I can't forget

Liam POV(earlier)

"Bye Liam" She says and takes off her promise ring and I try to talk, but I can't, she throws it on the ground and runs to her truck and I pick up the ring and follow her but she drives off

I fall to my knees trying not to let myself cry as the boys run over to me "You told her?" Louis asks and I nod "Told her what?" Nicole asks

She's going to kill me

Macie tried

Louis explains everything to Nicole and she just stands there for a minute until she turns to me and glares at me "You.did.what" She says before lunging at me but right as she grabs my shirt Zayn, Niall and Macie all grab her and pull her back "Nicole! It's okay!" Macie tells her "You freaking kissed another woman?!" Nicole yells at me and I stand up "She kissed ME!" I say pointing at me "But-But ug you better not be lying" She growls "I'm not trust me" I say "We should see where she went "Me and Nicole will go check out their apartment" Macie says

Gracie POV (regular time)

"He loves you too Gracie" Macie says "How bout we go to starbucks or something?!" Nicole suggests "We should probably tell the boys we found her" Macie says "NO! Let's just go okay?" I say and we get in my truck and head to starbucks

We get there and Nicole screams "I'M CRAVING COFFEE!" And she runs in the door and me and Macie run trying to keep up with her but once she runs in the door another guy was walking out and she plows right into him and falls

"NICOLE" We scream as the guy lifts her off the ground and we walk up to them "I am so sorry!" He says "Oh no that's my bad!" She tells him "So what's your name?" He asks her "N-Nicole" "Lovely name" He says and they continue talking so me and Macie get a booth and just watch them talk and then they get out their phones

Probably exchanging numbers

"Be right back" I tell Macie and walk over to them "Well I'll see ya later?" Nicole says "I'll text you too" He says winking and he walks out the door "Stay here" I tell Nicole "Wait-" She says but I run out the door after her mystery man "Hey wait!" I yell and he stops and I catch up with him

"Okay so I just gotta set somethin straight here" I say and he raises an eyebrow at me "I'm Nicoles friend!" I say "Ooh okay" He says "Alright I know you like her and I am completely ok with that but if you guys start dating I'm just letting you know that her old boyfriend didn't treat her right so I payed him a little visit and he's not here today, and by here I mean alive! So just remember this if you think about breaking her heart" I say and with that walk back into starbucks happily knowing I've done my job

"What did you do?" Nicole asks "I just was making sure he didn't turn out like....you know who" I say sitting down in a booth next to Macie across from Nicole "We ordered for you though" Macie says and then they Call our names and I go grab our drinks and when I get back Macie and Nicole are standing up "Where we going?" I ask "We thought we'd take a walk on the sidewalk, by the grass, outside!" Nicole says and I laugh and hand them their drinks that I paid for

"What about my truck?!" I say "We can get it later?" Nicole suggests so I agree

We get on the sidewalk and considering it is so late in the year it isn't even that cold "What'd you guys get me?" I ask "We ain't tellin!" Macie shouts and we get on the sidewalk and they start sipping on their coffee so I try opening mine before I drink it but the lid won't come off

"I...can't...open...the dang....li-" But it opens

I was pulling so hard that when the lid came off and all of my, what apparently was, milkshake splattered all over Macie and we stop walking and I back away from her and into Nicole

"Maaaaaacie....I am bewwy sowwy" I tell her but she just glares at me and Nicole backs away and Macie jumps on me and tackles me and we land on the grass by the sidewalk "NICOLE MY LOVE HELP ME!" I scream but Nicole is to busy laughing her little tush off to help and Macie wipes some milkshake off her shirt and smears it all over my face and I flip her off me and run across the road to the other sidewalk and Macie starts running across as a car comes

"MACIE STOP!" I scream and she stumbles backwords scared at how I screamed and the car nearly hits her but they hault to a stop

Then I realize it's the boy's rental car

"Macie?!" Niall screams jumping out of the car and I run to her and he lifts her off the ground and she pulls him into a hug acting like she's about to fall off a cliff and he's the only thing that's saving her

"Macie?!" The boys yell getting out of the car as well "Oh my gosh Macie! This is all my fault I'm so sorry!" I say about to cry "It's n-not yo-your-your fa-fau-fault" She says still clutching Niall and Nicole gives me a side hug

After she lets go of Niall I give her a hug and she keeps telling me it's okay "I'm fine Grace!" She says "Okay okay!" I say and laugh a little and I notice Liam not with the guys

"Where's Liam?" I ask "He's at his apartment" Louis says and I hug Macie again "You need to go see him" She tells me "I'm not really up to it" I tell them but Zayn, who is behind me, wraps his arms under mine and starts dragging me "No Zayn I don't want to talk to him!" I say but he throws me in the passenger seat and Nicole comes up and grabs my truck keys from out of my pocket "HEY!" I say reaching for her but Zayn holds me back and slams the door and Niall get in the drivers seat and Macie and Nicole get in the back and Niall drives off

"NO MY BABY!" I scream as I see the boys walking back to my truck with my keys

"Calm down!" Niall says "Ugh guys now that I'm being forced to do this I don't even want to" I say "We know, that's why we're dropping you off a couple roads away so you can choose to go to your apartment or Liam, your choice" Niall says and he pulls up to he curb and I open the car door "Stay safe!" Macie and Nicole say "Okay....and I'm REALLY sorry Macie and I'm glad your okay!" I say "It's fine now go!" She says so I shut the door and I sigh

I'm going to Liam's

I walk aways until I get to his apartment and fans and paps are everywhere so I hide behind a bush and call Louis

"Hello?"

"LOUIS! I need help Liam's apartment is surrounded by fans and paps! Could you and the guys distract them? Like take my truck home and then run by here? Like so I can get in"

"Yeah I guess!"

"Thanks Loupoo your the best!"

"Welcome Gracecakes!"

"Bye!"

"Bye!"

After about 20 minutes I finally see the Zayn, Harry and Louis literally running on the other side of the road "HELLO WE'RE ONE DIRECTION!" Louis yells and they start running even faster and of course the fans and paps chase after them

I quietly slip out from the bush and walk up to Liam's door and knock then shove my hands in my pocket and look at the ground and the door opens "Hey" I say not looking up and he grabs my arm and lifts my chin up making me look in his eyes

"Liam I can't keep a relationship knowing that I can't trust the person I'm in it with" I say sternly and he doesn't answer me "You know what forget it" I say and walk of "Wait!" He says and I stop when I'm in the parking lot and turn around and he starts walking toward me "You know what Liam? Maybe you should try helping me with this! Maybe I want to keep US! But sometimes I feel like you do-" But I'm cut of by him grabbing my face and putting his lips to mine and I can't help but smile and place my hands on his neck

After a while he pulls back "I love you, I love you so much I don't want to lose you, I just couldn't figure out a way to say it, you didn't give me a chance to figure it out" He says and I look at the ground "I love you too, I don't want to lose you either, but I can't forget this I don't know if I ever will it just hurt me so much" I say and look up at him "I can help you forget" He says kissing me passionately again

This moment I won't forget
