Chapter 55: Arguments

Macie POV

"Niall! She hasn't called me yet!" I tell Niall as we walk through the super market "Who?" He asks and he grabs a bag of crisps and puts them in the cart "GRACIE!" I say "She's fine just calm down babe" He says "I just don't trust her dad" I say clenching my fist just as my phone rings

"Gracie?!" I say "Hey!" She says "Are you okay?!" I yell "Yeah...? Why wouldn't I be?" She asks "Well your dad kinda isn't very trust worthy" I say in a duh tone "Hey he's trying" She says

"I know I know...so how was the house and all?" I ask "Bad, we're going to fix it up though so dad can live in it" She says "How we're you're emotions though? You know the one's you can't control" I say "Terrible, I cried, screamed, ran out of the house to the end of the driveway" She says "Ahhh I see, I'm sorry that must've been hard for you" I say "It was" She says "Hey babe you want Oreos?" Niall asks

"Wait...did Niall just mention Oreos?!" She yells

"Um...No" I lie

"Yes he did I heard him! Get me some OH MY GOSH PLEASE!" She screams again "Niall grab another box of Oreos" I sigh "Tank you!" She says like a baby "No problem" I say and we head to the checkout "I'll talk to you later my dad just dropped me off at my truck bye!" She says "Bye" I say and hang up

Niall kisses my forehead "What was that for?" I ask and he just laughs and kisses my nose and then my lips and I smile but raise an eyebrow at him "I just love you" He says "Aww love you too" I say and we take our paid for groceries out to the car

Gracie POV

"Thanks dad" I say as I get out of the car "Bye sweetie, stay safe" He says and I hop in my truck and head home

I get home and I open the door to see Liam chasing Rose around and her giggling "I'm gonna get you!" He says and she screams when he grabs her arm and flings her onto the couch "Having fun?" I ask and Roses head pops over the couch and she nods while smiling

"Good! Hey Liam when do you have to pay the rent?" I ask "Um about a week maybe...why?" He asks "Cause I have some money to help, I live here too you know" I say "Yeah babe but you don't have to, I'll take care of it" He says "No Liam I want to help pay okay?" I say not really in the form of a question "No you don't even have a freaking job Gracie! Stop arguing!" He yells

"What the heck I used to!? And I have money Liam I'm not some useless girl! I'm a woman sharing an apartment with my boyfriend!" I say "No you have no job that's pretty useless to me! Gosh sometimes I just wish I stayed with Danielle" He says mumbling the last part "W-What?" I stutter "I'm so sorry baby I didn't mean that I swear! I'm just having a really bad day my au-" He says but I cut him off "Oh um yeah whatever sure we'll I'm kinda ticked right now so I'm gonna like leave" I say so calmly I even surprise myself "What? Where are you going? Let me finish talking!" He says

"Me and Rose as going to a park, with actual play equipment and I don't have to let you finish talking!" I say and grab roses hand and she puts her coat on "Don't leave please!" He says "Oh well I'm sorry I thought I was useless?!" I yell "No babe I didn't mean that I swear you're not useless you mean everything to me! Just let me explain" He yells "Well I just don't wanna be around you right now so I'll see you later" I growl and take Roses hand and we walk out the door

"Are you guys bweaking up?" Rose asks looking up at me "Oh no honey, sometimes we just get into arguments and I need to...get away and cool down before I punch him in the face" I say and she giggles "You wouldn't punch him in the face cause you love him!" She says giggling again and we get in my truck and head to the park

We get there and I notice I have a few text messages from Nicole and Pete

'Hows Rose?' The one from Pete says

'She's good! We're at the park now!' I send her

"Rose honey why don't you go play on the playground?" I say "Okay!" She says and runs of to the playground and I sit at a bench and read Nicoles texts about her date

Just then my phone rings "Yellow" I say "Gracie?" Macie asks "Oh hey! Somebody enjoys calling me!" I say "Hey um where are you?" She asks "The park why?" I ask "Well me and Niall just got home and he had to go somewhere and honestly I just don't want to be alone! Wanna come over?" She says "Yeah after Rose is done playing!" I say "Great thanks!" She says "I'll see you in a bit bye!" I say and she says Bye and I hang up

I look up and see Rose sliding down the big slide

Just then a man in a large tan coat with a black beanie starts walking up to her and she just stays there

I slowly get off the park bench as he walks right up to her and places his hand on her shoulder and she just looks at him with her eyes full of fear "HEY!" I scream and start running over to her and his hand slides down to her elbow and he clutches it and with the other hand he reaches into his pocket digging around for something "HEY LEAVE HER ALONE!" I scream and I run faster and faster and Rose looks at me and her eyes are full of tears

"DON'T TOUCH HER!"

Okay so this may be considered a CLIFFY?!

Well I'm sorry but I'm not updating until I get near 430 votes cause nobody ever votes
