Chapter 50: Alex's house

"Gracie!" Nicole chokes out while crying "What?!" I scream back "I'm trying to help him, he's getting better!" She yells "What do you mean?!" I scream "He's a little...well not right in the head and I'm trying to help him get better-" I cut her off "Nicole! He hits you everytime you go over there! He's insane or he just doesn't respect you!" I say and open the front door and she lets out a cry "Stop!" She says but I run out of the door and down the stairs and Nicole stands at the top of the stairs "GRACIE! He might hurt you please let ME talk to him!" She screams "You've"talked" to him enough!" I yell

I'm not mad at Nicole, well just a little bit because she didn't tell me he was doing this, but I'm mainly mad at Alex, he isn't messed up in the head, he's just a jerk that needs to die

I get in my truck and see Nicole sink down into a ball crying in front of our door

I start the car and head to Alex's house, luckily I know where it is

When I get there I get out of my truck I slam my door and stomp up his 5 steps onto his front porch and pound on his door

"Oh hey Gracie!" He says while opening the door and I punch him right in the nose hard and he stumbles backwards "I know you hit Nicole! And I know your not "a little messed up" you are perfectly fine! Well maybe not sane but you know what I mean!" I scream at him and he looks up at me and smirks, to be honest it scares me half to death. He jumps at me but I dodge him, yet I trip over the trim on the bottom of the door and fall inside his house as he falls on the porch.

"Crap" I mumble as he stands up and I crawl backwards further into his house and I slowly stand up and run down his hallway and lock myself in a room and press my forehead against the door and dig for my phone that should be in my pocket

Crap it's not there!

I turn around and nearly fall over when I see what's in there

Tons of pictures

Of girls

He was stalking them

"Oh gosh" I whisper looking at a picture on the wall

It's of me and Nicole when I went to her work to talk with her on her lunch break, the picture was taken outside though

He was spying on us

I begin to look at all the other girls, in the pictures on the walls, this is insane and there aren't any windows. Suddenly I see a tv with a cd placed beside it that has 'Nicole' written on it.

"Holy crap..." I say on the verge of tears. I can't believe how out of whack this guy is, but there goes Nicole, trying to fix everyone.

Out of curiosity I go ahead and play the cd. Nicole is sitting in a chair, well tied to a chair and I clamp my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming

"I love you Nicole..." Alex says placing his hand on her knee as he kneels down in front of her and she spits on him, he just chuckles "You shouldn't have done that" He growls and punches her arm

Hard

"Nicole!" I whisper on as she screams in pain "Say you love me..." He says wiping a tear off her cheek "Never" Her voice cracks and he smiles "You know what I'll do if you don't say it" He says

Do what?! Is this why she wouldn't tell me?!

"Please...don't kill my family" She crys "Not just your family, Gracie too!" He says and I nearly fall over

She was protecting me and her family this whole time!

"Fine, I love you" She says and I let a tear fall down my cheek "Good girl" He says and leans in to kiss her but she won't let him. His face grows angry and he kicks her in the shin and I start to cry hearing her blood curdling scream
