Oh my gosh....chapter 49!!!!! this book has come a long way I love you guys so much and I can't believe how far it's come and how close I am to finishing my book!!! I'm thinking about stopping at 65 or 70?! Love you!!!

Gracie POV

I wake up on the floor of the living room trying to remember what happened

Oh yeah Pete, Luke and Marrisa stayed the night with me and Nicole

"Why am I on the floor!" I groan and sit up but no one's around so I get up and look around for people

I find Pete and Luke in my bed

OH YEAH! I remember letting them sleep in there but where's Marrisa and Nicole?

I find Nicole in her bed but still don't know where Marrisa is

"Hey! Sleep good?" Marrisa asks walking out of the bathroom "Well except for the fact that my back hurts from sleeping on the floor than yes!" I say popping my back "Oh yeah,you were on the couch asleep and I wanted to sleep there so I just shoved you off" She says way to casually

"Heyy guys!" Pete sings walking out of my room "Happy bout somethin?" I ask her "Luke asked to get an apartment with me! We have been dating for a year and a half now!" She says "Oh my gosh that's great!" I say "We're going looking today for an apartment" She exclaims just as Luke walks out of his room and slips his arm around Pete's waist and kisses her forehead

"Congrats!" I tell Luke and he smiles "Why don't you go get ready so we can go look soon?" Luke says and she grabs some clothes out of her suitcase and goes into the bathroom

Pete POV

I go into the bathroom and change into casual clothes, brush my teeth, and put my hair into a ponytail and put on a little make up and then I'm done "Ready to go!" I tell Luke "We'll see you guys later!" I tell Marrisa and Gracie right when Nicole trudges out of her room "Mornin, and the only reason I got up is cause Alex is taking me to his house in a little bit" She says and flops on the couch "Well bye guys!" Luke says taking my hand in his and we walk out to his car

We drive around for a while looking at apartment building when we slowly drive by one that looks nice and pull up to the curb

I look to the other side of the road and there's an all girls orphanage there, and there's a little girl trying to drag a huge garbage bag to a dumpster

I roll down the window to ask if she wants help but right when I start to talk an old lady runs out and yells at the little girl "HURRY UP OR NO SUPPER TONIGHT!" And she runs back inside leaving the little girl there crying trying to drag it but she can't move anymore

"Luke! Help me!" I say but apparently he's been watching the little girl too so we both jump out of the car and run over to her and Luke grabs the garbage bag and throws it in the dumpster and I get on my knees in front of her and she looks down at her bare feet "He sweetie, I'm Pete" I say and Luke kneels down beside me "And I'm Luke, are you okay? Why was that lady yelling at you?" Luke asks her and she wipes a few tears from her cheeks "She yells at me awot...so do de older girls" She says

She's absolutely adorable, light dirty blond hair and light blue eyes, she just hasn't been taken very good care of

"The yell at you?" I ask and she nods "And hit me" She says lifting up her little torn beige dress revealing a bruise on her skinny thigh "Oh honey..." I trail off and pull her in a hug and she hugs me back "I hate it here" She says and starts to cry again "How old are you princess?" Luke asks and she smiles when he calls her princess "I'm 6, and my name is Rose" She says
