"So wait, you're my sister?" Connor asked, now very confused and quite disgusted.
Kitten revealed the switch hidden in her corsage, ignoring Connor's question. "If you don't want me to let all those nasty bugs out for a midnight snack, you'd better pucker up!"
M'gann gasped, Connor could hear it. He felt so guilty. M'gann was his girlfriend, the only girl he'd ever loved. he couldn't do this to her, he couldn't betray her like this.
He placed a finger on Kitten's puckered lips, and she opened her eyes in surprise.
"Not even if you paid me!" He growled, snatching the switch and holding it out of reach.
Kitten started to climb on top of Connor, the two of them wrestling for the switch. Connor was holding Kitten in a dip, with the switch far out of reach, when she gasped.
"Fang?"
Connor and M'gann looked in the same direction as Kitten.
"THAT'S your boyfriend!?" While Connor was distracted with the scene and fleeing students, Kitten managed to grab the switch back.
It was the same creepy spider-guy the team had fought earlier, marching towards Kitten. Connor could see it now. He really did look like a Fang. a very Superboy-angry Fang.
"Get your hands off my girl!" He pointed one of his regular arms at Superboy, his regular body hanging from his spider head.
Superboy did as asked, willingly dropping Kitten like one of Ma's hot flapjacks to block the barrage from Fang's legs.
Before Fang could shoot some goo or his lasers at Connor again, M'gann pushed him back, shifting from her prom dress into her Miss Martian stealth uniform.
"Keep your legs off my boyfriend!" She warned. "Connor, are you okay?" she asked much more gently, pulling Superboy to his feet.
Connor rubbed the back of his neck, grinning up at M'gann. "Honestly, this is the best I've felt all day!"
He tore off his tux, and M'gann was amused to see his regular t-shirt and jeans hidden under the fancy dress clothes.
"Fangie-poo! You really do care!" Kitten gasped, as if it wasn't that obvious, running over to her ex-no-more.
Fang held out a piece of jewelry on each of his spindly legs, stolen from the Happy Harbor jewelry store, no doubt.
"Let's never fight again, baby."
"Oh Fang," Kitten swooned, throwing her arms around his neck.
The two had a moment to smooch before Connor interrupted.
"You know, you two make a terrible couple." He chuckled.
Fang was obviously a better boyfriend than Connor first suspected, charging at the half-Kryptonian to protect his girlfriend's honor, but Superboy was prepared this time, easily dodging the lasers and goo.
Unfortunately, one blast of goo hit M'gann.
Still holding the switch, Kitten giggled as she watched Connor unleash his pent-up anger from tonight by attacking Fang.
"Isn't it romantic?" She giggled as M'gann struggled to pull the goo off her face. "They're fighting over me!"
M'gann's eyes glowed a dark red. "They are not fighting over you!" She screamed.
Kitten growled, just like a cat, and jumped on Miss Martian with her sharpened nails slashing wildly.
"Hey, Kara, let's hit the dance-!" An oblivious, scrawny redheaded boy and his blonde date were frozen by another set of Fang's eye-beams, and Miss Martian quickly pulled them out of the way of Fang, as thrown by Superboy.
