During Season Two. This is what I WISHED would have happened in "Summit." SORRY IF ITS SHORT!!! x3
PS- WHY DIDN'T SUPERBOY HAVE ANY LINES IN THIS EPISODE? THAT IS A BIG NO-NO. AND NO, LA'GAAN CANNOT SAVE MISS M. THAT IS CONNOR'S JOB. >:)
"Time to go," Savage growled, glaring at Miss Martian's reflection in the sword she levitated dangerously close to his throat. The golden ring he had on his finger began to glow red, and Klarion appeared with his ever-present familiar, Teekl, on his shoulder. With a wave of his hand, he turned the sword into a flaming serpent, which attacked M'gann.
Superboy let out a battle cry and charged at Savage and Klarion, but before he could hit them, they disappeared in one of Klarion's magical portals.
The giant fire serpent snaked it's way up higher and higher in the chamber, and by now M'gann was unconscious. There was no time to get the bad guys now.
Connor had lost her twice before, he couldn't fail her a third time.
M'gann needed him.
He jumped as high as he could, urgency pumping adrenaline through his veins. He grabbed one of the horns of the serpent and punched its face. The serpent snapped at him, but he dashed out of reach, down the snake-like spine to where M'gann was trapped in the coil of its tail.
Grunting with effort, even with his super-strength, Connor pried M'gann out of the serpent's grasp. He picked her up gently and jumped back down to the ground, creating a dent in the cave floor.
"C...Connor?" M'gann whispered hoarsely.
"M'gann," Connor grabbed her hand that reached for his cheek.Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Beast Boy having a bit of a throwdown with Monsieur Mallah, the fire serpent disappear in a shower of ash, and Kaldur defeating his father. It was over.
"M'gann?" He repeated when she didn't reply.
She gave him a weak smile, but a smile all the same, "I'll be fine."
So, Merry Christmas everyone! And if you don't celebrate Christmas then I wish you a Happy New year in 2015!
