Double Date (@Star-Wars_SkyGurl's Request)

So this is for Star-Wars_SkyGurl, for winning the one-shot contest I hosted MONTHS ago (I apologize for being so slow DX) If anyone else is interested in participating in another contest I will gladly host one.

This one-shot, as part of Garrie's request, contains two of her OC's: Carter Prince (aka Wonder Girl I, Wonder Woman's neice), and Apollo Crock (aka Apollo, Artemis's twin).

"You gonna do it?" the raven-haired boy asked his younger, blonde-haired companion.

"Dude, no! I can't!" Apollo Crock nervously fidgeted with his short blonde ponytail as she walked into the room.

Carter Prince was much more than her beautiful looks. She was strong and aggressive, yet thoughtful and smart. She, like Wally, considered herself a nerd, and often wore a T-shirt to express her interests. Today was a brown shirt with an image of Han Solo aiming his gun, exclaiming, "I shot first!" 

Carter, oblivious to Apollo's interest in her, casually strolled over to his twin and began to chat it up with the archeress and her redheaded friend.

Superboy had no interest in Wonder Woman's neice, at least romantically, but he could hear his own pulse begin to speed up as he caught sight of the green-skinned, brown-eyed redhead she was talking to.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who can't." Apollo grinned, having caught Connor's gaze.

"Shut up," Connor muttered, staring back down at his fists resting in his lap.

"Come on!" Apollo shoved his friend's knee. "Everyone here- well, except for Wally and my sister, apparently -know you and M'gann have a thing for each other!" The two looked back over the the girls as Kid Flash sped over, leaning on Miss Martian's shoulder and staring into her eyes dreamily.

Apollo caught sight of Connor's fist, curling around a handful of his jeans.

"He doesn't deserve her." the half-kryptonian muttered under his breath.

"Come on! What do you have to lose?" Apollo asked.

Connor stared at the floor again, thinking it over.

"Tell you what," He said to Apollo, "I'll ask out M'gann if you ask Carter out. Double Date."

"Deal."

The two boys shook on it.

"What 'Double Date'?"

Connor and Apollo looked up, trying to hide their horror at the two girls they'd just been talking about. 

M'gann had her hands over her cheeks to hide their extreme redness while Carter placed her hands on her hips, grinning like the cat that had just eaten the canary.

"Um...tell you later!" Apollo said nervously. Connor slapped a hand over his face at his friend's cowardice.

Carter raised an eyebrow at Apollo, then gave M'gann a knowing look. "If you say so," She shrugged, walking towards the exit.

She stopped in the doorway. "And by the way, I prefer Chinese food."

Apollo ran a hand through his hair, hoping he looked nice enough. It wasn't a totally formal date, but it was his first date, so he hoped he looked nice enough.

"Wow, bro, you look smooth. Big night tonight?" Apollo spun around to his twin leaning casually in the doorway to his bedroom.

"Artemis." He warned. But she grinned, egging him on.
