So I guess that this would sort of be in an alternate universe because Mount Justice is still there after Season Two and Wally didn't "die", but other  than that everything else is pretty much the same.

Connor was glad to back. He'd spent the past couple weeks with Superman at the Fortress of Solitude, but spending time with Superman was nothing compared to the time he spent with the woman he loved.

They weren't children, weren't teenager's anymore. They had grown up, fallen in and out of love, acquired more friends and teammates, and changed. All of the six members of the original team had changed so much.

Well, for starters, Artemis and Wally, who had been drifting in and out of retirement, were the first of the team to get married. Nightwing had followed soon after, getting engaged to Batgirl shortly after the "Spitfire Wedding" as it was called.

Wally and Artemis were expecting a baby soon, a girl, to be exact. It was humorous to see the couple arguing over baby names good-naturedly, and they would often have the team members take sides (This, of course, would abruptly end when the two made up by kissing, and someone- usually Mal or Karen -shouted "Get a room!")

Another thing that had changed, something that so greatly influenced Connor's everyday life, was his own marriage. to M'gann.

M'gann. He couldn't wait to see her again. He hoped that she wouldn't be mad that he spent so much time away, but he would be happy to see her anyway.

"Recognize: Superboy, B04." announced the computer. The light cleared, and Superboy saw Beast Boy, Impulse, Robin, Blue Beetle, and Wonder Girl look up at him from their training.

A split second later, Impulse took off.

"He's here! He's here!" Bart 's cries echoed throughout Mount Justice. Obviously he felt the need to broadcast the arrival to everyone in the cave.

"Connor, come on!" Garfield cried. The green boy shape-shifted into a gorilla, grabbed Connor's left arm and began to pull Connor towards an adjacent hallway, while Cassie tugged on Connor's right arm.

"This is gonna be good," Jaime high-fived Robin behind Superboy's back and the two followed.

"Alright kids, what's going on?" Connor asked suspiciously, bracing his heels on the floor. Cassie and Gar' combined strength was too much for him, and they dragged him towards the kitchen/living room complex.

"Come on, just come on and you'll see!" Cassie giggled, pulling him even harder.

When they finally dragged him into the living room, the rest of the team was there- minus La'gaan -and all looked up at him expectantly.

M'gann was sitting on the couch between Zatanna and Artemis, who were both beaming. Connor walked up in front of them and saw a shiny sheen on M'gann's face.

"M'gann, what's wrong?" He asked, kneeling down and getting at eye level with his wife. ((A/N- X3 FANGIRLIN!!!))

"She's not crying," Artemis said, as if it was obvious.

"What? Then why-" M'gann cut off Connor's question by tilting his chin so that he looked right at her.

He saw a spark in her eyes, and they crinkled at the corners. Then he realized, she wasn't crying because she was upset, she was crying because she was happy!

"What is it?" Connor asked, helping M'gann stand up.

M'gann wiped a tear from her eye, "Connor, something wonderful has happened."

"What?"

"Connor," she said as patiently as he was impatient, "I'm pregnant."

It took a moment for that to sink in.

"A...a baby?" Connor asked  in disbelief, completely oblivious to all his friends and teammates around him, the only thing that existed was the beautiful angel in front of him.

"Yes," she said, starting to cry again.

Connor kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up, swinging her around in circles.

Artemis put her hands over Beast Boy's eyes, as she knew that's what M'gann would do if she weren't kissing. Wally did the same with Impulse, as did Nightwing with Robin.

"Get a room you two!" Karen laughed, obviously not meaning what she said.

This was a happy time, and nothing could ruin it.
