Nathaniel walked up to their little bakery. Knock knock. "Marinette someone's at the door", Tikki said a bit anxious. "Oh no!", Marinette said wiping her red puffy eyes. "Maybe it's my dad! I was supposed to help out in the castle today! I haven't worked in a long time!". Marinette washed her face with water and rushed to the front door where the bakery took place.

She opened the door and found Nathaniel. "Oh h-hey Nath", Marinette fake smiled, hoping he wouldn't notice she was crying. "Hey Mari... My parents wanted some cookies for tonight so... I was wondering if you... Hey wait a minute... You've been crying haven't you?", he asked.

Marinette shook her head no. "I'm fine really". Nathaniel sighed, "I know your lying Marinette, what happened?". Marinette sighed and opened the door wide enough for him to come in. She went behind the counter and picked up a little box while Nathaniel sat down in a chair.

"Well...", Marinette started. She started her sappy story (well for her) while picking up a cookie by cookie into the box. "It happened after school... We started to talk... Then the talk went to a disagreement... Then the disagreement into an argument-".

"Was I the cause of the trouble?", Nathaniel asked. Marinette sighed, "no it's not you". She didn't want Nathaniel to feel guilty of the cause of them braking up. "It's just that Adrien is just so... So difficult...". Nathaniel frowned, "please continue".

Marinette nodded, "well he got mad and he... He broke up with me", Marinette started to cry wiping away her tears with her apron. "Oh Marinette... I'm so sorry...", Nathaniel whispered. "It may be my first heart break... But I think I'll be okay", Marinette shrugged in a shaky voice.

Nathaniel got up from his seat and went to give Marinette a reassuring hug. "Thanks Nath I needed that", Marinette sniffed. Nathaniel grinned, "uh Mari... I think you put way too many cookies in the box".

Marinette looked at the little box that had was overflowing with a batch of cookies. They laughed. "Well I better go, I must bring these home", Nathaniel smiled. Marinette waved goodbye and shut the door. She kept thinking of Adrien which brought her to a few tears. All they have been through...together.

~Marinettes P.O.V~
I ran up to find Tikki. "Hey Ti- Ahhh!". I was startled by finding a certain cat. "Chat Noir?! W-What are you doing here?", I asked trying to dry up my tears. "Oh hello princess, you look purrtty today", Chat smiled. His smile. It reminded me of... Of Adrien. I bursted into tears. "What did I do wrong? What did I do for him to hate me?!", I cried and fell to my knees. I felt leather gloves on my shoulders. "Who's him, Mari?", I heard Chat whisper.

"It-It's no one Chat...", I sniffed. He looked at me with his green cat eyes. "Princess", Chat purred lifting my chin up, "tell me why you are feline so sad?". I couldn't help but chuckle to his stupid cat pun. "If I make you laugh with that pun imagine the pawsibilities", Chat Noir smirked at me. I started laughed more and more that my jaw started to hurt.

"How cute", I heard him whisper. I smiled and slapped his arm playfully. "Meou-ch purrinces you have lots of strength!", he laughed. I laughed and yawned. I felt my eyes drifting off into sleep. I heard Chat laughing on and on until my head fell on his lap and I fell asleep.

I slightly felt him brushing my hair... Next thing I knew I felt soft blankets and a peck placed on my cheek. I looked up and Chat Noir was gone. I looked around me and saw that he placed me on my bed. I chuckled and fell asleep.
