Broken Into Pieces

The next day was yet another boring school day. Chloe and Sabrina were waiting at the front of the school. Chloe evilly chuckled at the tube of lipstick. "Today is the day Sabrina! Adrien will finally be mine!", Chloe snickered while clenching the lipstick in her hand.

"Look it's Adrien!", Sabrina yelped. "Perfect! Now shoo Sabrina! Me and Adrien have to be alone", Chloe said adjusting her dress. Adrien walked up the steps of the school and smiled a little. Even though him and his Lady aren't together anymore for now he was cheered up from last night. Thinking of Marinettes laughter to his cat puns. It brightened his day.

Only his thoughts were interrupted by Chloe. "Hello Adrikins!", she cooed. Adrien mentally rolled his eyes. He didn't want to be rude so he put on a little smile, "Hi Chloe". "Adrien I'm aware that you and Mayonatte aren't together anymore. How does a new girlfriend sound?", Chloe batted her eyes while putting her arms around his neck.

Adrien cleared his throat and pushed her away gently by the shoulders. "Um first her name is Marinette and second no thank you Chloe I'm good". Chloe got out her lip stick potion and put some on. "I don't think you have a choice Adrihoney", Chloe smacked her lips and kissed him. At first Adrien hesitated but by the affects of the potion he kissed back. Chloe pulled back and observed him. Adrien looked a little dizzy but then spoke, "well your looking beautiful babe".

Chloe almost shreaked of joy. "It worked!". Adrien chuckled and kissed Chloe on her cheek. "I'll be back I need to put some stuff up". Chloe blew him a kiss, "don't be too long my prince". "Of course not my lady".

Sabrina nervously laughed and came up to Chloe. "It worked!". They both laughed until Sabrina pointed to Marinette and Alya walking on the steps.

"Look it's Marinette!". Chloe put on a devilish smirk and walked over to them with Sabrina following close behind, "Ah! If it isn't my favorite person? Marinette Dupain-Cheng! Hahaha, but seriously... Is it true that Adrien and you are no longer a thing?". Marinette looked to the floor hanging her head low. She didn't want Chloe to see her cry. Alya growled and gave Marinette a side hug.

"Why don't you mind your own business Chloe?!". Chloe flipped her hair causing it to hit Sabrina's curious face. "Oh wait! Silly me! You and Adrien were never a thing! It was all an act!", Chloe laughed.

"Just leave us alone Chloe!", Marinette hissed. "Hey princess who's bothering you?", Adrien came from behind of Chloe. "Princess?", Marinette died a little inside. "Yeah that's right! Adrien and I are dating", Chloe smirked.

Alya and Marinette looked over to one another. Marinettes eyes only watered. She died inside. Her world collapsed. Her eyes burned from so many tears. She tried to wipe them off but the pain was too much. The one she loved was now with another... And even worse!

King Gabriel would approve of them and then he would tell them to get married since that's what both King Gabriel and King Bourgeois wanted! Marinette had to stop this! Chloe could get away with it in her dimension but in this dimension too? No way would she let that happen!

"Adrien what the heck! Your dating Marinette!", exclaimed Alya. Marinette shook her head, "actually we broke up... Yesterday". "Oh no girl! I'm so sorry!", Alya hugged Marinette.

Adrien wrinkled his nose in disgust, "What?! How could I EVER date a filthy peasant like her", Adrien said disgusted looking at Marinette. Marinette couldn't believe it. He called her a peasant... A filthy one... How could he...?

"Hey! Marinette is actually the sweetest most loving helpful girl I know! So if you don't want to end up in a hospital bed with a broken EVERYTHING!", Alya pointed at Adriens face, "I suggest you apologize! You hear me jerk? Apologize!".

"Oh please Adrien doesn't do that!", Chloe laughed, "he only obeys my commands". Adrien felt a tad offended but brushed it off. "Oh wait my bad, I guess the reason why he doesn't understand what a freak you are, is because his brain is the size of a freakin' pea!", Alya smirked crossing her arms.

"Excuse you?!", Chloe growled. "Oh my bad! I guess your so dumb I must talk in your language! I don't speak moron as well as you!", Alya sassed, "but let me try! Blah!". Chloe scoffed in anger, "your such a-".
"Go on!", Alya yelled, "say it!".
"A hooligan!", Chloe stuck her tongue out.

Alya coughed, "says you". Chloe was about to reply but Nino came and butt in. "Hey dude!", Nino smiled putting and arm around Adrien. Adrien scrunched up his nose and pushed him off. "Get your filthy hands off me you peasant!". Both Marinette and Alya gasped, "that was so low! Nino is your best friend! How could you scold at him like that!?".

Adrien snorted, "why would I be friends with a peasant?!". Marinette had enough, "your such a sick freak! I don't know what Chloe did to you but your attitude stinks just like hers! Don't EVER get near me or my friends ever again!".

Inside of Adriens mind his voice was trapped. "No Mari! Wait! Please save me!".

Marinette pushed her friends into the wooden school building. They went to put up their stuff in the coat room and sat in the classroom.

~Marinettes P.O.V~
I quietly sobbed and hid my face. Even if we weren't together I still loved him. I know cliché. But wouldn't you feel the same about being in a relationship with someone you loved? Like really really really loved? Since the first moment I had with him... Under that umbrella... I chuckled at that single thought.

Loosing that very special love... And that your love is now with your enemy? I looked over to Chloe and Adrien. Them flirting. It made me sick and miserable!

You could say I was broken... Broken into pieces...
