Last time: Miku and Luka paired up for a Music assignment and decided to sing 'Magnet' together.
Miku's PoV
Luka turns around to face me, raising an eyebrow. "Why did you stop?" she asks me.
I avert my gaze to the ground and admit in a small voice, "I forgot the lyrics.." With a sheepish smile, I rush over to the desk and begin searching for the lyrics.
Luka sighs in frustration as she watches me frolic in front of her. "You said you knew them!" she stresses. I remain quiet, and she shakes her head, long pink hair mimicking her movement.
I finally find the lyrics, buried under some worksheets. I grab the sheet of paper, accidentally nudging the tall pile of papers stacked on the desk beside me. I gasp as they floated down, and scattered all over the floor.
"I-I'm sorry! It was an accident!" I panic, diving onto the floor to get the sheets of paper before placing them back on the desk. Luka watches with an unamused expression. I take the lyrics sheet and return to my position in front of the microphone again, ready to start.
"It was good up until the chorus. So we will start at that point and progress from there." she explains. I nod my head in understanding, and the music begins to play once again.
Attempt 2

machigai nado nai-"Stop." Luka demands. Almost instantly I stop singing, and music softly continuing to playing through my headphones.
"What's wrong?" I ask her, nervous. Luka sighs.
"You went too high pitched here.." Luka points out, pointing to some of the lyrics on the sheet.
"Oh.. sorry. I'll make sure I get it right this time!" I assure her. Luka nods in satisfaction and restarts the music again.
Attempt 3
dakiyosete hoshii tashikamete hoshii-
"Stop..." Luka orders once again. I look at her, tilting my head and narrowing my blue eyes.
"What did I do this time?" I ask, a little bitterness in my voice as I speak.
Luka shakes her head before explaining. "You weren't singing. You were just speaking the words with no rhythm or feeling."
"Oh..." I respond.
Attempt 4
"Stop...." Luka says after the chorus. "You forgot to breathe between the lines. It was obvious you ran out of breath."
I sigh. "Sorry.. I'm no good at this, am I?" I mutter, upset.
"It's not because you're bad. Just because you aren't used to it." Luka explains, readjusting her headset before looking at me and smiling. "Let's try one last time."
Attempt 5
At last, we got through the song without making a single mistake. Luka seems way more satisfied now. "Well done!' she says once we finish, hugging me.
"It was fun!" I admit with a smile, removing my headset and placing it carefully on the table, this time taking care to not accidentally redecorate the floor with sheets of paper.
"Just in time, to. We have to go to our next class now." Luka states - as if on queue, the bell rings.
"See you at lunch!" I call over my shoulder, running out of the recording studio to collect my bags.
===========================
Finally, history is over. All throughout the lesson, seemingly useless facts seemed to drift into one ear and out the other. Now it's finally lunch time.
As I was making my way to meet Rin and Luka in the cafeteria, Len ran up to me and started walking with me. "Kon'nichiwa [hello] Miku-chan!" He says brightly.
"Kon'nichiwa." I reply, smiling back at him. For a few moments, we walk in silence, until Len perks up again.
"So, where are you heading?" He asked.
"The cafeteria." I reply, picking up my pace as the doors to the cafeteria loom into view.
I spot Rin and Luka sitting together at a table in the corner. I rush over to them and sit with them. "Hey guys!" I grin.
"Sup?" Rin asks, pushing a stray strand of blonde hair behind her ear.
I look up. "The ceiling." I relied.
"Very funny." Rin grinned, and Luka giggled.
Giggling along with them,I take my bento [Japanese lunch box] out of my bag, and start eating. Rin peers at me and tilts her head.
"Leeks?" She asks, an obvious tone of confusion in her voice.
"What? They're delicious!" I exclaim, biting into one. Luka grimaces.
"Is it raw...?" she asks. I nod enthusiastically in response. Luka and Rin look at each other in disbelief, and then back at me.
"What's so bad about leeks?" I ask in confusion, looking at them both with sad eyes.
"What's so good about them?" Rin ask/ bitterly. I pause for a second.
"Because they taste really nice! Oh, and you can spin them!" I smile after hesitating, increasing Rin an Luka's confusion.
"Eh? Spin them?" Luka repeats.
"Yup!" I respond, causing Luka to look at me even more questioningly than before as I continue eating.
I look to my left to see Len approaching our table. He was about to sit down, before noticing Rin sitting with us, shooting him death glares.
"Go." She hisses at him, still eyeing him with a scary glare. I feel a shudder down my spine as Len mutters something under his breath before walking off to sit elsewhere.
Rin looks at me, now looking as innocent as an angel. "What's wrong, Miku?" she asks sweetly.
I peer at her nervously. "Can you... please tell me what happened between you and Len?" I ask her, twirling a strand of real hair around my finger. Rin pauses, and then sighs.
"Fine," she huffs, closing her electric blue eyes. "Here's how it goes..."
