Luka - #25

Last time: Rin and Len got into a fight, hurting each other emotionally and physically.

Rin's PoV

I used my sore arm as an excuse to watch YouTube and listen to music all day.

Occasionally my phone would deliver a notification from the group, usually Teto giving us an update about her day, or Miku and Luka discussing leeks and tuna.

Meh, I'll stick to my oranges thank you very much.

So I spend most of my day lazing around, staring at a computer screen and occasionally going on a wild journey downstairs to get a packet of crisps.

Yay!

I haven't seen Len all day though. Oh well...

I stay on my devices until it begins to get dark.

Len's PoV

I get back in the house, slamming the door behind me.

After the argument with Rin, I had stomped out of the house, despite the rain, to clear my head.

After having a talk with Kaito, I decided I was finally calm enough to head back home and maybe patch things up with up Rin.

I grab a banana from the kitchen and bite into it, appreciating the delicious flavour.

Then I run upstairs, and knock on the Rin's bedroom door.

I hear her pause a YouTube video she's watching before calling out in a monotone voice.

"What?"

"I just wanted to apologise for my behaviour earlier." I say, averting my gaze and looking down, "sorry."

Rin opens the door a little and peers through the gap.

"I forgive you.. I guess." she shrugs.

"Cool. Thanks." I smile, and turn around to go to my own room, just as the rain stops and the sun begins to shine, illuminating a wonderful sunset.

"What happened yesterday?" Luka asked with a concerned look in her eyes the next day at school.

Me and Rin exchange glances.

"We just got into..." I began, pausing.

"A small fight." Rin shrugged.

Luka narrowed her eyes at us.

"If you say so.." she said.

An awkward silence was shared between the three of us.

"How was your weekend, Luka?" I ask, wanting to break the deafening silence.

Luka sighed.

"Exhausting." she replied.

I look at her. She has dark circles under her eyes. She definitely looks exhausted.

"Why don't you take a break?" Miku suggested, bouncing over to us.

Luka hesitated. Her eyes now full of sadness and upset.

Miku took this into account and hugged her friend.

"IM SORRY!! You don't have to tell us if it's personal!" she panicked. Yep, she's definitely back to normal..

Rin sighs a frustrated sigh, as Luka pulls away from Miku.

"It's okay, Miku." she said, forcing a smile. Miku looked doubtful, but shrugged to herself and walked over to her desk.

I saw Rin shoot Luka a glance that said "tell me later." before taking her own seat.

Luka sighs, averting her gaze. I frown, not wanting to see anyone this way.

"Hey, are you okay?" I ask her.

Luka looks back at me.

"Yeah, thanks." she says, "just memories."

I nod slowly.

"Makes sense.." I mutter, and she smiles and takes her seat, and I do the same.

I talk to some people that sit around me, including Piko and Kaito.

Kaito doesn't seem to give a stuff about his situation with Miku.

I frown.

Is it possible... that he doesn't actually know about it?

Well, I guess I won't find out any time soon...

Then the teacher walked in. Everyone snapped to attention the second she set foot into the classroom.

"Morning Sensei." The class chorused, and we went through the register, like we do any other day.

Narrator: and we will end it there! Quite a short chapter but oh well! XD

Luka: I swear in every chapter someone's upset...

Narrator: ..........

Rin: Anyway.. X3

Miku: SAYONARA!!
