Last time: Sonika came along to annoy Luka, Rin reminded Luka to take a break from work sometimes, and Miku got scratched my a cat ;-;
Miku's PoV
"See! Cats are evil!" Rin yelled.
I stare down at the deep scratches on my arms.
Rin, Len and Luka all ran over to me.
"Jeez, are you okay?" Len asked, peering at the scratches.
"Mhm. It doesn't hurt that much." I say.
Luka pulls a tissue out of her bag and and gently dabs it on the wound.
"Ow.." I whimper quietly.
She pulls the tissue away, and sighs at the bloody tissue.
"It's fine." I tell her with a weak smile.
"It could get infected." Rin says with a cold stare. "That's why I'm afraid of them."
"I-infected?!" I repeat anxiously.
"Shut up Rin - you're not making this any better for Miku." Len scowled at his sister, who rolled her eyes.
"Come on, let's carry on walking." Luka said firmly.
We eventually got to the point where Rin and Len took a different route.
"See you guys tomorrow!" Len called behind him, and Rin waved.
"See you." Luka replied, and then turned back to face me. "Has the bleeding stopped?"
"Not yet.." I respond. Luka sighs.
"Let's get you home - I'll clean it up for you." Luka decided.
"Okay." I smile. "Thanks."
We walk back to my place. I quickly explain the situation to Mikuo, who bites his lip and tells Luka where he keeps the medical supplies.
Luka gets the disinfect-thingy and uses that first.
"That stings.." I whine.
"It will do, but only for a second." Luka promises.
She's right - soon the stinging stops.
"That's better!" I smile.
"That's good." Luka says, wrapping a bandage around the scratches. "That cat got you pretty good."
I eye Luka for a minute and shrug my shoulders.
Pretty soon it's all taken care of.
"Cool." I grin. "I still don't understand why Rin's so afraid though."
"She probably thinks it's going to scratch her like he did to you." Luka pointed out.
"It was an accident though. Rin squealed and the cat got scared." I pointed out.
"She doesn't know that, though." Luka shakes her head. "Anyway, I've got to go. Iroha will probably be waiting for me."
"Okay. Say hi to Iroha for me!" I tell her. Luka nods and waves goodbye.
That's when I remember that I have to do some homework. I sigh at the unpleasant thought and I return to my room, pulling out papers from my bag and laying them out in front of me on the desk.
I pick up the pen and begin writing, only to find the pen has ran out of ink.
"Seriously..?" I sigh, chucking the pen in the bin and running over to Mikuo.
"Onii-chan?" I say.
He looks up from the papers he is filling out.
"What's wrong, Meeks?" He grins. I grimace at the nickname, but I decide to let it go.
"My pen has just ran out of ink, and I have homework to do that is due in tomorrow. I was wondering if you have any spare pens that I can borrow?" I ask with pleading eyes. "I won't take too long."
"Here." He says, handing me one of the pens that are placed next to him.
"Thank you, onii-chan!" I smile, before running off to my room to actually do the homework, and probably bore myself to death.
===========================
I've finally done it!
I smile at my accomplishment as I slam the pen against the desk and lean back in my chair, raising my hands high above my head.
Now I can spend the rest of the evening doing whatever.
I decide to go in YouTube and search up for some of my favourite artists.
I listen to their songs, singing along to the choruses, wishing that I was as good as them.
The song comes to an end.
"They are really good at singing." I sigh. "Why can't I be that good?"
Sure, some of them have probably had vocal lessons and stuff like that, but some of them are just naturally good. Plus, they probably have all of the professional equipment, and there is no chance that I am getting all of that fancy setup anytime soon.
I smile to myself, imagining what it'd be like to sing up on stage, with fans sitting below you, screaming your name and saying how much you have influenced their life.
"Yeah... that's not happening anytime soon." I tell myself. It'd be really nerve wracking, going up there in front of hundreds and thousands of people, and you're just expected to sing in front of them like its nothing.
Yikes.
I lean back in my chair, thinking of all of the possibilities.
Even so, I know that my dreams are far off reality.
I shrug to myself and turn off my phone. It's getting late, so I'm going to get ready for bed.
I have another school day ahead of me tomorrow.
