Last time: Len showed concern for Rin after seeing her in her current state.
Luka's PoV
"It's the last day of school!" Miku cheered.
Rin gives her a small smile, and I yawn, due to that extra cram session last night.
"Luka..." Rin says in an angry tone, making me jump.
"Sorry! I thought I might as well seeing as it's almost the holidays.." I apologise.
"I'll let you off this time." Rin responds, rolling her eyes and giggling to herself. I manage a giggle as well.
"Anyway, are you two still on for Monday?" Rin asks.
"Yep, I am!" Miku smiles.
"So am I. I have no other plans for Monday." I tell Rin, who smiles.
"Great. It's official then." She responds. Me and Miku exchange glances,
"You're making it sound like some sort of 'National Sleep Over Day'" Miku laughs.
"Well, it can be our National Sleep Over Day." Rin tells us with a playful smile.
"Okay." Miku smiles.
"By the way Rin, has your eye gotten any better since yesterday?" I ask with a caring tone.
"Just a little bit." Rin explains.
I nod at her response.
"I sure hope we don't bump into Meiko any time soon..." Miku says, shuddering at the memory.
Rin hesitates, as if unsure of her own opinion.
"I guess." She says eventually, shrugging her shoulders.
I glance at Rin, with a slightly confused expression.
"What?" Rin asks, taking note of my suspicious behaviour.
"Nothing.." I say, causing Rin to narrow her eyes in suspicion.
"Whatever.." She mumbles, shrugging her shoulders.
Miku looks at us both, trying to figure out the situation.
"Anyway.." Rin says, folding her arms.
"Anyway what?" Miku asks, blinking slowly.
That's when the bell rings out, alarming the whole school and signalling that it is time to go to homeroom.
"Let's go." I say, and the three of us begin to make our way to homeroom.
We were about to turn the corridor to the classroom, but I feel someone hold me back.
I turn around, and I'm greeted with purple orbs staring back at me, meeting my own blue ones.
"Gakupo.." I smile, wrapping my arms around his waist and hugging him.
"Hello, princess." Gakupo smiles, returning the hug. "Just wanted to check on you."
"Oh, that's sweet of you." I say, smiling shyly.
"Oh, and I meant to give you this." Gakupo said, reaching into his bag and pulling out an envelope. He handed it over to me, and I study it carefully.
"Thank you." I say. Gakupo smiles.
"Got to get going now." He tells me.
