Last time: Miku spent her free time imagining what it would be like to be a famous idol.

Luka's PoV

School was an absolute bore.

Nothing interesting happened, just teachers yelling at students and trying to teach them the trick behind algebra, and asking how to say "Hello, nice to meet you, my name is..." in French.

I could've swore this was the longest day of my life...

...and it only gets worse from here.

Once the bell goes, I pack my bag and rush out of school premises, on my way to the office for another eternity.

You see, someone was supposed to be staying at the office until gone midnight to fill out some very important forms, however they are unable to make it for whatever reason. So my boss turned to me and asked if I could do it instead - I said yes.

I sigh as I imagine what reaction my friends would have. And Rin... I don't even want to think about that.

Eventually, I arrive at the large office building. I enter the building and hurry to my room.

I am going to regret this, but what has to be done, needs to be done.

===========================

The last form is filled out.

I internally celebrate, and push all the papers aside.

I turn on my phone, so see that it is 1:45am.

Jeez... He wasn't lying when he said past midnight...

I yawn as I stand up, tucking the chair back into the desk.

That's when I remember the pile of homework at home that needs to be done by tomorrow.

I sigh as I realise that I have to stay awake yet another few hours before I can get any sleep.

I leave the office building, and walk through the cold streets.

The wind has picked up, it's freezing cold, and I've not got my coat with me.

The journey home takes about fifteen minutes.

Those fifteen minutes were extremely hard.

I got back home at about 2:00am. I slam the door shut behind me and race over to the desk. I grab a pen and begin doing the homework.

===========================

Thank God.

I've finally finished.

Seriously, when I say I had a pile, I mean a pile - it was not fun.

I glance over to the clock.

5:00am.

"Shoot.." I mutter to myself. On a normal day, I would be waking up in an hour.

I sigh and tiptoe into my bedroom, double checking that my alarm clock is set.

I allow myself to close my eyes and drift off to sleep.
