"Bye Mom, bye Dad, bye Josh, bye Lucas, bye, oh wait, you're coming with me. C'mon Jess." I walk onto the bus.
"Oh look who decided to show up today!" Nikki says.
"Nick!" Lindsay yells.
"What's with the stink eye?" Lindsay whispers something into her ear. "Ohhhhh. I'm so sorry Jess. I'm sorry Sar. I didn't know."
"It's fine Nick," Jessie says, taking a seat in the row next to her. I sit next to her.
"How is Josh holding up?" Lindsay asks.
"He's okay. I think he's at the hospital right now. I'm just happy Luke is fine because that's the only thing that's holding him up." We're silent the rest of the way to school.
