"Are you still mad at me?" Asks Carter.
"I was never mad," I tell him. "I just, I really like you."
"I like you too. Can I ask you a favor?"
"What?"
"Accompany me, along with my brother and Lindsay, to see my new house over in Weston this weekend?"
"I'd have to ask my parents, but I would love to." He gives me a kiss and we go sit down.
"You ask her?" Ryan asks.
"He did if you're referring to the house. And have we not learned that is a horrible question to ask?"
"Nope, not really," says Ryan. Lindsay smacks his arm.
"Where's Jess?" Nikki asks.
"I don't know, but if she's with that airhead then I'm done," I say.
