I put in my combination to my locker. "Three, twenty-five, thirty-four," I whisper under my breath.
"Hey girl," Lindsay says, walking up to me.
"Hey, we're meeting at your place at six, right?"
"Yeah."
"Okay." We walk to the bus and sit in our usual spots. "Hey sis, Nikki," I say.
"Hey," says Jessie.
"You excited for tonight?" I ask her.
"Yeah. Oh, shoot!"
"What?" Asks Lindsay.
"I forgot to tell John we're meeting at your house!"
"Oh my god! You got his number right?" Nikki yells.
"No, I forgot!"
"Okay, um, Linds, is it okay if we come at four instead?" I ask her.
"Yeah, Tommy has a play date, but I guess it's fine. I'll text my mom."
"Okay," says Jessie.
