"Who wants food?" Ms. Smith says carrying a plate of patties. Jessie and Nikki run over and take three each.
"Okay then," I say. Someone knocks on the door. Carter opens it.
"Hey, Ride! Wait, are you, Gabby?" He asks, referring to Ryder's girlfriend.
"Yeah. Nice to meet you. Are you one of the twins?" Gabby asks, shaking Carter's hand.
"Yeah. I'm Carter. Nice to meet you. My brother, Ryan, 's over there." Ryder and Gabby come in. Gabby walks up to me.
"Hi, I'm Gabby. How do you know the twins?"
"I'm Sarah. Carter's girlfriend." I shake her hand.
"Do you go to Weston? Or..."
"No. Virmount."
"Oh. Okay." Lindsay walks over to us.
"Gabby, hey! How are you? When did you start dating Ryder?"
"Hey, Linds! About three months ago. You back with Ryan?"
"Yeah. Oh, sorry Sair. Gabby and I are friends from back before I moved."
"It's fine. Nice to meet you Gabby."
"Nice to meet you."
