"Hello, Juliet," Carter says as he walks up to me. My heart flutters.
"Juliet?"
"Yeah. C'mon, love at first sight, unrealistically fast stages of relationships, shall I go on?"
"Well, in that case, hello there, Romeo." He kisses me.
"I'm sorry about last night. I hope you didn't get in too much trouble."
"No need to be sorry. It felt good to be rebellious for a day." He gives me another kiss.
"Well, that's good. So, are you free Friday?"
"No, sorry, I'm grounded 'till Saturday."
"Well, are you free Saturday then?"
"Yes, I am." We sit down on the floor next to Nikki and Lindsay.
"Well, then Saturday it is then." He quickly gives me a kiss.
"Dude, really?" Ryan asks. "You couldn't even get her home on time?"
"Yeah, cause you're such a gentleman!" Carter yells back.
"Stop!" Lindsay yells.
"Boys," I say rolling my eyes.
"You love me," says Carter.
"Eat your food."
